7. A piano has greater number keys than a keyboard and that is why
keyboard is smaller than the piano
A keyboard is portable and you can take it with you anywhere you want,
on the other hand, a piano is much heavier and bigger in size that is why
you can not move it easily

8. Keyboard is also much cheaper than a piano
If you are a beginner, I suggest you should start with the keyboard first
and then switch to piano, once you become intermediate and you like
start taking interest in the hobby

10. The next step is to get familiar with the keys of the piano or the
keyboard
It is very important that you should know where each key is as it will
help you in learning piano chords and scales which is the next step
It might take you a few days to get completely familiar with the
arrangement of the keyboard or piano keys but that’s normal

11. If you fail to have a complete grip on all the keys and their arrangement,
this will make difficult for you to learn piano chords
So, go step by step and master one thing at a time then move to the
next thing.You should also get familiarized with the sounds of the
keys

now start playing some basic and easy tunes which you love or you might
have listened to them onTV
With this, you will learn to play piano in small tunes patterns. Don’t start
with large tunes which involve difficult combinations. By practicing the
tunes again and again you will have a solid grip on it and you’ll be able to
play them on your own

14. This will also help you to develop your finger muscles and make them
stronger. Piano keys are hard to press and they require more than just a
slight push of fingers
Due to this, initially, as your muscles are stiff and not developed,
your fingers don’t move smoothly in a proper flow which is very
vital if you want to become a good pianist

16. As a beginner, you might be a student or even if you are an adult, group
learning helps you a lot
You can learn together with your friends who also want to learn but
didn’t get the opportunity to learn piano or they might even don’t
have one but they do show interest in it

17. Learning in a group will be fast as each one of you will be helping and
supporting each other and also be highlighting the mistakes of one and
other while playing the piano
You will have a great company and it will also become a motivating
factor for you to do good as each of you will try to prove that you can
