The Founder & Managing Director of Mumbai Film Academy,
Mr.Brajesh Pandey is an experienced Sound Designer having
started his career way back in 1985 as a Sound Recordist for
Shankar Jaikishan's Supertracks Sound Recording Studios at
Famous Studios Mahalaxmi.

Later he joined Bombay Film Laboratories as a Film Sound
Recordist and worked with legendary composers like Khayyam,
Vanraj Bhatia, Laxmikant Pyarelal, Ravindra Jain, Ram Laxman,
Uttam Singh recording lm songs & Background Music for Rajashri
Productions Maine Pyar Kiya & Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.

He worked in the music industry in its boom period
alongwith Music directors Laxmikant Pyarelal, Bappi Lahiri,
Rajesh Roshan, Anu Malik, Nadeem Shravan, Anand Milind, Jatin
Lalit, Amar Utpal & Mahesh, Kishore. Ismail Darbar, Shankar
Ehsan Loy, Jatin Lalit, Himesh Reshamia, Vishal Bharadwaj,
Aadesh Srivastav. Recording for Music Directors like Anu Malik,
Bappi Lahiri, Viju Shah Anand Milind, Jatin Lalit became a
regular feature.
In 1988 He joined Filmcenter Recording studio and teamed
up with Salil Chaudhary, Kalyanji Anandji, Viju Shah for lms like
Tridev & Mohra. He enjoyed working with R.D Burman for lms
like Parinda & 1942 Love Story.

He Recorded top singers like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle,
Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurty Anuradha Podwal, Poornima
Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam,Kumar Sanu, Shaan, Abhijeet,
Sukhwinder, Babul Supriyo, Daler Mehndi, Adnan Sami, and
many more upcoming singers. Due to his pleasant personality he
made a good network with artists and technicians within the Film
& Music Industry.
Entry in the television domain started with Sahara T.V in the
year 1995. Sandese Aate hain…. was recorded here. The idea of
Film Academy came in the year 1996 and a company Pratima
Infotainment was registered to provide knowledge and content
for Media & Entertainment.
This year Mr. Brajesh Pandey completes 32 years in the service
of Media & Entertainment.
Mr. Brajesh Pandey recorded songs for eminent lm
makers like Gulshan Rai, F.C Mehra, Sultan Ahmed, Nasir
Hussain, Subhash Ghai, Yash Chopra, B.R Chopra, Rahul Rawail,
J.P Dutta, Yash Jauhar, Ramanand Sagar, Shakti Samanta, N.
Chandra, Rajkumar Santoshi, Shashi Kapoor, Shekhar Kapoor,
Vinod Chopra, Vinod Mehra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Mansoor
Khan, Aamir Khan, Shahruk Khan and recorded songs with
almost all Singers including Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle,
Kishore Da & Manna Dey.

ANIL CHORASIYA
DIRECTOR - FILMMAKER
Anil started his career with Pratima Infotainment Media
Communications in the Creative Department for Concept Creation,
Development and Execution. He began making Ad lms and Short lms
for various corporate houses. Later Anil joined Mumbai Film Academy
as a Creative Director in the lmmaking and direction department. He
worked as an Independent lmmaker and director making short lms
and documentaries with the young students of Mumbai Film Academy.
After the success of Rhumaa international Ad, Mr. Anil Chorasiya
was assigned an international short lm Ek Kadam Aur on the subject of
Alzheimers which was recognized internationally. The big break as a
director came in the year 2015 when Mr. Anil Chorasiya shared a
unique concept with Mr. Brajesh Pandey, the Producer of MFA motion
Pictures who instantly liked the concept and assigned Mr.Anil
Chorasiya to direct the lm. The lm Shaukeen Kaminy was made in
record time and in a very economical budget which was released all
over India on 3 rd June 2016.
The success of this lm gave wide recognition to Mr. Anil
Chorasiya as a lm maker, director in the entire lm industry. He was
approached by the distributors and nancers to make lms for them.
Currently he is assigned as a director for upcoming feature lms like
Mastermind, Blind Love, Modied India, Scary Heights and a sequel of
his rst lm titled Phir Aaye Shaukeen Kaminay. A good rapport with the
Artists, Technicians, Film makers, Directors and Distributors brought
him in the forefront of Indian Cinema to Direct, Produce and Distribute
lms in association with Mr. Brajesh Pandey of MFA Motion Pictures Pvt.
Ltd. He believes in sincerity, perseverance and hard work.

and this is true in the case of our Joint Managing Director. Mrs. Pratima
Pandey has been instrumental in building the company from its small
beginnings in 1998 named as Pratima Infotainment Media
Communications to India's Top most media training institution. From its
inception, Mrs. Pratima Pandey has been hands-on in the operational
management of the company, controlling on academic activity, with
operational efciency. Given her wealth of experience, today, she works
closely with the Group Managing Director in helping him discharge his
responsibilities. Her sincere efforts in creating the MFA Motion Pictures
brand has resulted in total lm production house. Today MFA Motion

Entertainment Industry in India comprises
of Film and Television Industry. The Indian
entertainment industry is among the fastest
growing sectors in the country. Entertainment
industry – comprising of movie making and
television production is a major job provider
that employs directly and indirectly many
artists, technicians, skilled and semi-skilled
workers.

In the past two decades entertainment
industry in India has witnessed an explosive
growth. In television alone, from a single state
owned television network, Doordarshan, today
the total number of TV channels in the country
has gone up to 857. There are 403 news &
current affairs channels and 454 non-news
channels.
The Indian lm industry is the largest lm
industry in the world, producing on an
average, close to sixteen hundred lms a year
in all languages. In terms of lm production
India exceeds Hollywood's production volume
by over four times. Emerging trends suggest
that some of the fast growing segments in the
domestic industry include music, cable and
satellite advertising, animation and FM Radio.

Skills and resources are being pooled
extensively. Besides adaptation to high-end
digital technology, the entertainment industry
is also witnessing rapid development of state-
of-the-art studios and post production facilities.
In terms of employment, an estimated six
million people earn their livelihood from the
entertainment industry and this number is
growing day by day.

industry, satellite channel penetration, the retail
boom in the channels for online music sales, the

Professor F.R. Khan is a post graduate diploma
holder in motion picture photography from the
Film and Television Institute of India 1969 batch.
He has an experience of over 35 years in the Indian
lm industry as a cinematographer. He has worked
as a cinematographer & Director of Photography in
more than 70 lms. He has been associated with
Mumbai Film Academy since its inception.
DOP Ajay Tandon is an ace cinematographer
having graduated from FTII in the year 1982.
Ajay Tandon began his career with Hindi feature
lm 'Abodh' in 1984 and was the DOP for 2004
lm 'Abra Ka Dabra'. Besides Hindi lms he has
shot a lot of AD lms, documentaries TV serials
for renowned production houses.
Dev completed post graduate diploma in
cinematography from the Film & Television Institute
Of India.He has worked with eminent Indian as
well as international artists and theatre directors.
He has shot commercial's, feature lms,
documentaries, short ctions and corporate lms.

Professor Hitesh Liya is a post graduate
diploma holder in cinematography from
Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute. As
per his academic qualications he is a
mechanical engineer from IIT Bombay. He has
worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali as an
assistant cinematographer for the magnum
opus, 'Bajirao Mastani'.
Renowned cinematographer Firoz Khan is an
experience DOP in English, Hindi & regional

Aritra Ganguly is a passout from Satyajit Ray
Film & Television Institute Kolkata. He is a

Sanjay kumar is a Delhi university graduate of
1998 and he has been active in the Mumbai Film
Industry as a freelance indepedent editor since
last 15 years. He is an expert DI colourist having
worked at the ministry of movies. He is an expert
on Final Cut Pro, Assimilate Scratch, Baselight &

Sutinder Singh has been conducting acting &
grooming for students at Mumbai Film
Academy since 2006. Basically he has been
active in Delhi & later moved to Mumbai to
become a perfect trainer & motivator for lm &
TV actors.
Chandra Shekhar Dutta is an actor, known for
Rakhta Charitra 2, Tremors, Kaaron Ki
Namaaz. He is an actor, known for Goliyon Ki
Rasleela Ram-Leela. He is a post graduate from
FTII passed out in 2007.
Sanjay Kumar Sahu qualied the FTII entrance
examination for PG Diploma course in Acting in
2012. He is one of the younger generation of
qualied actors who prepares the students to
excel in the performance arts.
Deep Dev is a professional model & actor seen
on TV in various ad lms & TV serials. He has
been instrumental in training actors through
actual shootings for short lms & ad lms. He is a
specialist on body language, facial expression &

Mr. Uday Kamat is a Maharashtra state award
winner for music direction. He joined the institute in
2006 & has mentored more than a thousand
singers. He is an expert composer, arranger &
singer. He has recorded music albums for Anup
Jalota and many other composers, he has
complete knowledge of latest trends in digital
music recording.
He began his journey as a lm sound recordist
from Famous Studios & Bombay Film Laboratories
working with legendary music directors in the
golden era of music. Later he joined Film Center &
teamed up with Salil Chaudhary, Kalyanji
Anandji, Viju Shah for lms like Tridev & Mohra.
He enjoyed working with R.D Burman for lms
like Parinda & 1942 Love Story.
Monty Sharma is a music composer from India
scoring music for Bollywood. He is popular for
being the background music composer for Black
(2005), Ram-Leela (2013) and music director for
Saawariya (2007). He is cousin of famous Indian
music composer Mithoon & nephew of famous
music composer Pyarelal Sharma of popular
indian music composer duo LaxmikantPyarelal.
One of the most popular sound engineers from
FTII who has recorded more than a thousand
super hit songs with almost all singers music
directors and has been in the music industry
since 1989, he is the head of sound design &

Sajid Khan is a sound engineer having practical
knowledge of recording dubbing mixing &
mastering. He has an experience of more than
20 years and has recorded & created more than
two thousand songs for the Indian music
industry, he is an arranger for some of the hit
music albums.
Satish Gupta is a sound engineering graduate
from FTII working in the Indian lm industry for 4
decades. His credit has chartbusters like 'Bheege
Honth Tere', 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' & 'Sandese Aate
Hain' from the lm Border for which he won the
Zee Cine Award for best song recording. He has
also won the IIFA awards for best song recording
for 'Kache Dhaage', 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hain', 'Koi
Mil Gaya' & 'Murder'.
Jayant is a specialist in nal sound designing. He
teaches lm mixing, dubbing & surround sound.
He is a sound mixing engineer having decades of
experince as a sound designer with more than
100 lm some popular lms mixing done by him
are Rock On!!, Taare Zameen Par, God Tussi
Great Ho, Ghajni, Dostana.
Dilip Sen is a composer, known for Yeh Dillagi,
Aaina and Ziddi. He is one of the most popular
music composers teamed with Sameer Sen. He
takes special lessons to groom singers for
professional lm recordings. He has composed
songs for movies like Ishara - A Dangerous
Mission, Icy N Spicy, Masoom Mohabbat, Ishaara,
Jalwa, Mission Mumbai, Soorma Bhopali.

Dhananjay Bhatt is a highly qualied & trained
classical singer having a distinction of training &
mentoring the maximum singers participating in
TV reality shows like 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa', 'Indian
Idol', 'Sur Kshetra', 'Sur Sangram', 'Lil Champs'.
He was the 2nd runner-up of the reality show
'Meri Awaz Suno'.
I. K. Shyam is a popular Hindi playback singer
with a melodious voice. He has recorded
numerous bhajans & composed many songs.
He is highly conscious & concerned about the
state of Indian music. He is very popular stage
performer.
Arup Dey is one of the most liked and popular
audiographers of bollywood who has been
working with JJ Digital Recording studios. He is
an expert in music mixing & mastering. He is an
arranger for some of the hit music albums. He has
recorded top singers like Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi

A trained singer having a versatile voice, Zuber
belongs to classical gharana. He excels in

Mahua Tv's Sur Sangram, and also reached the
top 4 in DD's Bharat Ki Shaan.
Zakir Sadani is an expert faculty for rhythm at
Mumbai Film Academy and trains students in
Laya & Taal. Zakir Sadani is a popular rhythmist
playing in live shows in India & abroad. He is a
popular folk singer performing in live shows with
his band.

Cinematography & direction training at Mumbai lm Academy was the best thing to
happen in my life. No words can express the goodwill and cooperation given to an
International student. Currently I am working as a DOP for my own Production
House in Iran.
I am happy to get Addmision at Mumbai Film Academy Acting course after the
audition. On their rst day itself I got the opportunity to face the camera. We
have lot of practicals and shooting outdoors. I will accomplish my dream here
