1. Opening- Executive summery
 WIILO Tomato Pastry is small enterprise that produces organic and packaged tomato
paste.
 This tomato pastry business will help the country to safe for money that is going to
outside countries. It also help households to use organic tomato paste and safe also the
wasted local tomato productions.
 The company will produce a packaged tomato pastry of two items;1. 30gm and 2. 70grm
to households, restaurants and street food makers at the movement but in the future will
also produce the catchup.
 To produce the tomato pastry requires two small machines, 1. tomato pastry producing
machine and 2. tomato pastry packaging machine.
 This business needs 4 staffs; 1. producer, 1. sales and marketing, and 1. manager (owner)
and watchman.
 The business needs a budget amount of $3,500 to purchase machines, equipment,
packaging materials, Raw materials (tomato), staff and other expenses.
2. The Problem
 Everyday hundred of kilos of tomatoes are thrown because they become
red and not interested to buy by customers.
 Everyday thousands of kilos of small tomato paste packaged are
imported from outside of the country such as China and UAE which costs
more money to merchants.
 No organic tomato paste produced in the country.
3. The Solution
In order to solve these problems, we need
 To produce an organic packaged and local tomato paste to people in
Somaliland.
4. Target market and opportunity
 Wiilo Tomato Pastry targets the local Somaliland market at the beginning such as;
 Households
 Small shops
 Street food makers
 Canteens
 Restaurants
The market opportunity: there is no local tomato paste producer and people use it as fundamental ingredient
for cooking. Food without tomato paste is tasteless.
5. Product/service description
 WIILO Tomato Pastry will produce a packaged tomato paste of 2 items;
1) 30gm and 2) 70grm to households, restaurants and street food
makers at the movement but in the future will also produce the
catchup.
 The tomato production is made of local tomato, salt, oil, water and
preservatives.. etc mixed together and packed by machines to sell
customers a similar product to the one imported from outside.

WIILO Tomato Pastry will bring advantages to;
 The country: save money and increase local production and economy
 Customers: get organic and healthy tomato, cheap tomato and sustainable production.
 Farmers: give money from red tomato and extend their farm production.

 Farm owners: their families and workers, and farmer related business suppliers example: kat
sellers and restaurants

 A. 1kg (1000grm) of tomato makes 14 pcs of 70gm tomato paste
 B. 1kg (1000grm) of tomato makes 33 pcs of 30gm tomato paste
 1pc of 70grm tomato past cost =$0.043 and will be sell to 1pc of 70gm= $0.117 and the
Difference = (0.117-0.043)=$0.075 per pc
 1pc of 30grm tomato past cost =$0.02 and will be sell to 1pc of 30gm= $0.059 and the
Difference = (0.059-0.02)=$0.039 per pc
A. 1 kg of local tomato sales =$ 1.65 for 70grm tomato paste (14pcs) and the Difference is = $1.05
B. 1 kg of local tomato sales =$ 1.95 for 30grm tomato paste (33pcs) and the Difference is = $1.35
