Leaders, Great Teams, Great Results workshop. Please make sure to PRINT THIS OUT AND BRING IT WITH

2. Take a balanced view. Straight feedback is a priceless gift. Don't spend time guessing who gave you
low scores or express hostility toward people who responded. Use the data in a balanced, objective
way to improve your leadership abilities.
3. You will have the opportunity to take this twice. The workshop includes two LQ assessments. This
report (LQ1) reflects the assessment taken before the workshop. The second (LQ2) will be taken six
months after the workshop to measure improvement.
How Your Score Is Calculated
Your LQ Score is an average of scores for each of the 4 Imperatives of Great Leaders. Each Imperative Score is
derived from answers to two questions.
- The first question for each imperative asks respondents to indicate their level of agreement with a number
of statements about your leadership.
- The second question for each imperative asks respondents to choose which of two statements is more
likely to represent you as a leader.
Both of these questions are rated on a six-point scale. Each number on the scale is given a point value as
follows:

Your IMPERATIVE SCORE is an average of ALL respondent scores for both the first and second questions.
"Self" scores are not included in the calculation, but are included for comparison. Items marked "I Don't Know or
N/A" are also not included in the calculation.
Question 9 is your leadership Net Promoter Score (NPS). This score is NOT part of your LQ Score. It is a
separate measure that indicates people's willingness to recommend you as a leader. It is calculated from a 10-
point scale by subtracting the percentage of people who marked 0 to 6 from the percentage of people who
marked 9 or 10. It is not uncommon to have a negative score on this question.
The "Average" and "Top 10%" scores are provided for comparison and represent a statistically representative
sample of managers from the United States and Canada. This comparative data was gathered in conjunction with
Harris Interactive.

I chose the number I did on Question 9 because as a leader I follow the following attributes to
accomplish my job.
a. Lead by example
b. Talk less, listen more
c. Don't play favorites
d. Do my fair share
e. Be myself
f. Take responsibility
g. Develop my leadership chops
Being entrusted with a team is an exciting opportunity to demonstrate managerial skills. Even though
my official title hasn't changed, there are many ways I can show my colleagues that I've got what it
takes to be a leader and earn their respect. Therefore, I chose the number I did on Question 9, above.

Because Mr. Akhund is a dynamic personnel who posses leadership traits which is actually needed for
a good leader. (Promoter)
He is a good leader so far i have seen under my supervision. He was very organized to complete the
task with his team. He was committed and responsible for any task to complete on time and according

Yes, I have one thing to improve my leadership. I would like to improve a very touchy situation "Handling
Personality Problems".
People with personality problems are that way because of their strong emotive response to situations.
Some people feel that everybody is against them and some may be over-aggressive or even hostile,
while others may be very submissive or dependent. I would like to learn how will I handle such people
from this leadership training ?

i think if he improve his knowledge on how to motivate others to be greatness and communications skills
for a better environment then he could be more successful as a leader.

leadership.

"Self" Comments
My objective is to pursue career as a development professional in a challenging and leadership position
with excellent career development prospect where hard work, strict discipline, good communications
and creative problem solving skills are cornerstone of success.
I like to do meaningful work, helping and empowering the destitute and poorest people in the world. I
intend to work in a challenging and competitive environment where strong sense of responsibilities and
commitment requires, where dignity of work provides job satisfaction and the place of work provides
potential avenues for learning and growing. I showed my leadership when I worked at Islamic Relief (IR)
Worldwide-an international non-government organization. At Islamic Relief, I had the responsibility to
crate job employment opportunities for Islamic Relief's graduates. I introduced Graduate Welfare Forum
(GWF) of Islamic Relief for the creation of employment opportunities for its graduates. It was a common
place for the graduates where the they were able to exchange and share their views among their-selves.
Through GWF, we were able to ensure 100% job placement for IR graduates. I think that it was an
instance for me where I exhibited great leadership ensuring 100% job placement as per project
document.

I will be proud for him that once he was my leader and i learned from him a lot.

Recently our premises he launched a 'JOB FAIR' with gathering huge no of employers where I have
seen his leadership charisma.

When i am face any problem and raise this problem to him, he always received it positively and given
right direction to solve it and deliver in short time, what should be as a good team leader. I think is a
right & good Leadership for us

UCEP Bangladesh where as a leader of my legal team I got to know Mr Omar & also got to know his
leadership abilities by observing him keenly throughout the period of workshop.

Decision making in the achieving the results
During the Retreat of our organization ( UCEP Bangladesh) in December 2014, I saw his capacity of
leadership. At the same time while he was given the responsibility to run a region of nearly 250+
People, he could manage the activity properly.
He is one of my previous colleagues at Islamic Relief Bangladesh. Once he organized Graduate
Welfare Forum(GWF) annual meeting where I found him as a good leader
His last four years' commitments towards a friendly co-operative society.
I saw his leadership during competitive games with him
I saw Mr. Akhund's leadership when we were in a retreat held in the year 2014. He handled all sorts of
responsibilities to make the programme successful under his leadership.
I will be very happy.

Stay his own decision
Throughout the course of mu organization's collaboration with Mr. Faruque he has shown incredible
perseverance in pursuing goals that he has set for himself. Despite the obstacles that he faced in
dealing with government ministries he was able to successfully organize a training program in a foreign
country which required a year and a half of work without any guarantee of success. Nonetheless, he
persevered and accomplished his goals.

Each Imperative Score is derived from answers to two questions. - The first question for each imperative asks respondents to indicate their level of agreement with a number of statements about your leadership. - The second question for each imperative asks respondents to choose which of two statements is more likely to represent you as a leader. Both of these questions are rated on a six-point scale. Each number on the scale is given a point value as follows: Number 1 2 3 4 5 6 Points 0 20 40 60 80 100 Your IMPERATIVE SCORE is an average of ALL respondent scores for both the first and second questions. "Self" scores are not included in the calculation, but are included for comparison. Items marked "I Don't Know or N/A" are also not included in the calculation. Question 9 is your leadership Net Promoter Score (NPS). This score is NOT part of your LQ Score. It is a separate measure that indicates people's willingness to recommend you as a leader. It is calculated from a 10- point scale by subtracting the percentage of people who marked 0 to 6 from the percentage of people who marked 9 or 10. It is not uncommon to have a negative score on this question. The "Average" and "Top 10%" scores are provided for comparison and represent a statistically representative sample of managers from the United States and Canada. LQ1 "Self" Comments I chose the number I did on Question 9 because as a leader I follow the following attributes to accomplish my job. a. Lead by example b. Talk less, listen more c. Don't play favorites d. Do my fair share e. Be myself f. Take responsibility g. Develop my leadership chops Being entrusted with a team is an exciting opportunity to demonstrate managerial skills. Even though my official title hasn't changed, there are many ways I can show my colleagues that I've got what it takes to be a leader and earn their respect. Therefore, I chose the number I did on Question 9, above. "Boss" Comments Because Mr. Akhund is a dynamic personnel who posses leadership traits which is actually needed for a good leader. (Promoter) He is a good leader so far i have seen under my supervision. He was very organized to complete the task with his team. He was committed and responsible for any task to complete on time and according the advise. (Passive) "Direct Report" Comments Muhammad Omar Faruque is an open minded man. COMMENTS Question 11 If there were one thing Muhammad Omar Faruque could do to improve in leadership, what would it be? LQ1 "Self" Comments Yes, I have one thing to improve my leadership. I would like to improve a very touchy situation "Handling Personality Problems". People with personality problems are that way because of their strong emotive response to situations. Some people feel that everybody is against them and some may be over-aggressive or even hostile, while others may be very submissive or dependent. I would like to learn how will I handle such people from this leadership training ? "Boss" Comments i think if he improve his knowledge on how to motivate others to be greatness and communications skills for a better environment then he could be more successful as a leader. He is nervous at achieving results and too much proactive to ensure the goals which should be minimised. COMMENTS Question 12 Please describe an instance where you saw Muhammad Omar Faruque exhibit great leadership. LQ1 "Self" Comments My objective is to pursue career as a development professional in a challenging and leadership position with excellent career development prospect where hard work, strict discipline, good communications and creative problem solving skills are cornerstone of success. I like to do meaningful work, helping and empowering the destitute and poorest people in the world. I intend to work in a challenging and competitive environment where strong sense of responsibilities and commitment requires, where dignity of work provides job satisfaction and the place of work provides potential avenues for learning and growing. I showed my leadership when I worked at Islamic Relief (IR) Worldwide-an international non-government organization. At Islamic Relief, I had the responsibility to crate job employment opportunities for Islamic Relief's graduates. I introduced Graduate Welfare Forum (GWF) of Islamic Relief for the creation of employment opportunities for its graduates. It was a common place for the graduates where the they were able to exchange and share their views among their-selves. Through GWF, we were able to ensure 100% job placement for IR graduates. I think that it was an instance for me where I exhibited great leadership ensuring 100% job placement as per project document. "Boss" Comments The formation of National Child Council and National Women Council under his dynamic leadership. Whatever task i have given to him, Mr Akhund completed or given me feedback on time "Direct Report" Comments During work with Mr. Akhund at Islamic Relief, he showed an excellent leadership traits to control the relief works for the SIDAR affected people. In a frustrating moment, he leads hope to the workers and makes them active. In an workshop on Gender policy In any program In every pyramid of team management. In his regular, periodic and annual planning and achieving jalousies results. In UCEP Bangladesh' all staff gathering meeting where he has to lead around 500 people that day in Uttara. Never hided agenda. Discuss that in meeting and accurately evaluation employee performance and observe them. Recently our premises he launched a 'JOB FAIR' with gathering huge no of employers where I have seen his leadership charisma. UCEP-Bangladesh where we worked together. When i am face any problem and raise this problem to him, he always received it positively and given right direction to solve it and deliver in short time, what should be as a good team leader. I think is a right & good Leadership for us "Other" Comments administration and governence A workshop regarding the rights of the children in Bangladesh took place a year ago organized by UCEP Bangladesh where as a leader of my legal team I got to know Mr Omar & also got to know his leadership abilities by observing him keenly throughout the period of workshop.

Decision making in the achieving the results During the Retreat of our organization ( UCEP Bangladesh) in December 2014, I saw his capacity of leadership. At the same time while he was given the responsibility to run a region of nearly 250+ People, he could manage the activity properly. He is one of my previous colleagues at Islamic Relief Bangladesh. Once he organized Graduate Welfare Forum(GWF) annual meeting where I found him as a good leader His last four years' commitments towards a friendly co-operative society. I saw his leadership during competitive games with him I saw Mr. Akhund's leadership when we were in a retreat held in the year 2014. He handled all sorts of responsibilities to make the programme successful under his leadership. I will be very happy. In a function I Saw Muhammad Omar Faruque in UCEP-Bangladesh In UCEP-Bangladesh where we worked together. Stay his own decision Throughout the course of mu organization's collaboration with Mr. Faruque he has shown incredible perseverance in pursuing goals that he has set for himself. Despite the obstacles that he faced in dealing with government ministries he was able to successfully organize a training program in a foreign country which required a year and a half of work without any guarantee of success.
