Unlike most artists, Jin Gates was already a popular
figure within the hip-hop culture genre before
eventually venturing off into music. Know as the “face
of the asians” Jin’s urban influence was established
from a life of street hustle and later honest business
throughout the tri-state area (New York, NJ, PA. Jin
initially established himself as a prominent celebrity
jeweler, “Jin The Jeweler”, creating much needed
distance between his dangerous former street life.
Jin’s clients came from all corners of hip-hop and he
took many of those cultural aspects of his businesses
and formulated his homegrown apparel brand Cash
On Delivery, an independent brand valued at over $1
million.

FOR THE
HISTORY
The most affluential themes in Jin’s music are chronicled
from his early youth-hood which sent him down a path of
selling drugs throughout many different areas on the East
Coast. The music often dives deep into granular
storytelling of his hardship and enjoying the fruits of his
labor, in addition to gratifying music for the ladies. The
drug business wasn’t a noble endeavor, it was cause for
Jin to stay mobile whether it was sleeping on couches in
parts of Brooklyn, Jersey, Philadelphia or generally
wherever his hustle could generate the most profit. Jin
had several run-ins with the law; one of which he
narrowly avoided [add details] jail time at 21 but went on
to obtain his Associates Degree in Business & Marketing
and later at 25 being set up by shady police who stole
more than 13 pounds of weed from him and proceeded
to raid his home where they extorted over $500K in
valuables and merchandise.

hop/rap influencers such as DJ Khaled, 50 Cent, Maino,
Freeway, Gillie Da Kid, Fred The Godson, Ben Baller and
several other artists. Maino touts (change touts) both Jin
and his brother Noi Seng (partner in the Cash on Delivery
business) as the “Kings of Asia in the Hip-Hop World”. Jin
is determined to push the culture forward not just for
personal gain but for many in the asian community who
share his heritage and love for hip-hop.

creating music Jin Gates already has
acquired several million views on
YouTube and hip-hop cornerstone
site WSHH (Worldstar) for his music.
