Kwaku T was born in Ghana and resides in South Africa.
Over the past two decades, while traveling vastly around the world, he has been
involved in a series of projects that have led to the establishment of various music
labels, both Ghanaian and international. Among these are Warrior Music (Atlanta,
Georgia), Pidgen Music (Ghana) and currently Higher-Life Music, which are his most
recent Independent Label project as well as the name he has given to his personal
genre of music.

to name just a few. In early
2000 Kwaku alongside his
Warrior Music compatriots
were chosen as the only
independent Hip Hop group in
Atlanta to perform on the BET
106 and Park country tour
show in that city. They
performed alongside Lil Jon
and the East Side Boys,112,
Monica and Keith Sweat.
Being able to work with artists
such as *Polow the Don, Keri
Hilson, Rich Boy, DJ Benny D.

Kwaku is considered one of the crème de la crème of artists to grace the Ghanaian and
universal world music scene. Through a unique style based around his African and
multi-cultural identity, the Big Brother Africa 2 star has become a symbol of the
resilience and creativity of ‘Young Africa’. He was recently nominated for two Channel-
O Video Music Awards, Museke.com Award, and three Ghana Music Awards.
He is the winner of a Ghana Music Award and was voted one of the top ten Emcee’s as
well as the 4th most eligible Celebrity Bachelor in Africa in an opinion pole on Mnet’s
“Studio 53.”
He used to host on The Daily Planet on Planet Radio TV, www.planetradiotv.tv, he is
the anchor of the daily morning show.
