2. INTRODUCTION:
SOCIAL MEDIA HAS BECOME AN ESSENTIAL PART OF LIFE AND HAS ITS ROOTS DEEP IN HUMAN LIFE. SOCIAL
MEDIA IS BEING USED IN EVERY FIELD, LIKE BUSINESS, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY BONDING HUMANS CLOSE
TO EACH OTHER IRRESPECTIVE OF LOCATION OF ANYONE. SOCIAL MEDIA HAS PROVEN ITS IMPORTANCE IN
ALL ASPECTS OF LIFE.
3. METHODOLOGY:
IN THIS SURVEY WE HAVE MENTIONED SOME QUESTION ASKED FROM DIFFERENT TYPE OF PEOPLE IN ORDER
TO FIND OUT WHAT PEOPLE THINK ABOUT THIS. WE CHOSE PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT CLASSES INCLUDING
BUSINESSMEN AND STUDENTS. THE QUESTIONS WERE MOSTLY RELATED TO SOCIAL MEDIA AND ITS
ADVERSE EFFECTS ON DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIETY.

ONLINE SOCIAL NETWORKS HAVE SEEN A SPEEDY INCREASE WITHIN THE VARIETY OF
USERS, PARTICULARLY IN THE PREVIOUS FEW YEARS. BEING A POWERFUL
COMMUNICATION CHANNEL, ONLINE SOCIAL MEDIA HAS BECOME A PREFERRED TOOL TO
TOUCH UPON WORLDWIDE EVENTS, IMPROVE INFO DISCOVERY, AND FACILITATE SOCIAL
INTERACTION. SOCIAL NETWORKS CAN BE USED FOR SELLING AND ADVERTISING
FUNCTION AND FOR ENHANCING BUSINESS REPUTATION. SOCIAL NETWORKS CAN
BECOME TOOLS THAT OPEN UP NEW WAYS FOR CRIMINALS AND HACKERS TO PERFORM
UNWANTED ACTIVITIES, CORRESPONDING TO SPAMMING, OFFENSIVE THROUGH VIRUSES,
PHISHING, ETC., WHICH FREQUENTLY LEAD TO INFORMATION AND IDENTITY THEFT.

NEW CHANGE IN SOCIETY. THIS CHANGE CAN BE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE, DEPENDING UPON ITS USE.
GOVERNMENT OF A COUNTRY CAN BRING MORE DEVELOPMENT IN THIS PART BY HAVING A PROPER CHECK
AN BALANCE. WE SHOULD DECIDE THE TIME OF USE AS WELL AS EXTENT OF USE KEEPING IN VIEW OUR
HEALTH AS PRIORITY. WE SHOULD TAKE CARE OF OTHERS PRIVACY AND PROTECT OUR DATA FROM
