Basic needs of human life
10 Basic needs of human life
Introduction:
The basic needs of human life can aggravate the cycle of life. Whether we realize it
or not,
we are always at work. We may think of ourselves as being off duty, but our minds
never stop
thinking. There is always something going through our heads, whether it's conscious
thoughts
or subconscious thoughts. Our brains function continuously without us even realizing
it. This
is normal.
Most humans spend their whole lives operating. They might take a few breaks from
this, but
they will return to it. People will spend years doing nothing else besides work. Many
people
believe that they cannot live without work. However, when they die, they will have
spent most
of their lives working. Most people died before they retired.
Basic needs
People who spend the majority of their time working tend to feel restless. They are
constantly worried about what they will do tomorrow and the next day. On top of that,
they often feel stressed and anxious. When they retire, they usually have no idea
what to do with
themselves. So, they end up spending much of their time sitting around watching TV
and
surfing the Internet.
Basic needs:
1. Food
2. Shelter
3. Water
4. Clothing
5. Education
6. Hygiene
7. Health Care
8. Transportation
9. Safety
10. Communication
Food:
Food is also very important to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We may forget to eat
but without water, we couldn't survive even a few hours. So, any home or property
should be equipped with enough food storage. Even if there's only 1 week’s worth of
food left, we still need some level of sustenance.
The first basic need of human life is food. Food provides us energy to live our lives,
work, study, play, and even sleep. Without proper nutrition, we won't be able to
perform at our best. There are many different types of food and they vary from
animal-based foods to vegetables. They may be fresh, cooked, raw, frozen, canned,
processed, organic, non-organic, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc. According to
dieticians, a balanced diet should contain the following key components:
• Protein - This is the foundation of any healthy meal. A protein-rich meal could
consist of meat, poultry, fish, eggs, milk, cheese, legumes, nuts, tofu, etc.
• Fats and Oils - We need fats for brain function. Omega 3 oils are essential for
heart muscle health, while omega 6s are used in the body for energy production.
• Carbohydrates - Complex carbohydrates such as bread, pasta, rice, oats, etc., and
simple sugars like honey, syrup, etc., give us energy and also helps with digestion.
• Fiber - This refers to dietary fiber which keeps the digestive tract clean, lowers
cholesterol levels, prevents constipation, and promotes good bowel movements. It
also reduces hunger pangs.
• Water - Our bodies are mostly made of water. Drinking enough water every day
will help flush toxins out of the body and keep us hydrated.
• Minerals - Minerals are needed for growth, development, bone strength, cell
metabolism, tooth enamel, and blood formation. They are mainly found in plants and
animals but some minerals can also be obtained through drinking fruit juice daily.
Shelter:
The shelter is also very necessary. Homes are generally designed to protect us from
extreme weather conditions. However, homes cannot shelter against loss of income,
medical bills, or job losses. And this can turn into homelessness. Many homeless
shelters around the world offer a range of services to help those experiencing
financial difficulties or personal hardships.
Water:
Water is fundamental for survival. Our bodies must function properly to stay
hydrated. Without water, we'd die almost immediately. So any home or property must
be equipped with sufficient water supply. A backup water supply is also essential for
emergencies.
Clothing:
Clothing protects us from the elements and helps us stay comfortable. This can be
particularly vital for outdoor activities. Sportsmen wear clothing that allows for
mobility while hunting; farmers wear protective clothing to prevent accidents. Clothes
are used for decorative purposes too. Just think of Halloween costumes!
Education:
Education is a crucial element of any society and human beings are not an
exception. A person who is educated will lead a better life and will benefit from his
education and skills to achieve his goals. Having an education helps him to reach his
goals faster and easier. So, having an education is very important.
Hygiene:
It isn't only animals that require good hygiene. Humans also benefit from maintaining
cleanliness. There are many health benefits associated with good hygiene practices
including reduced risks of illness and disease and improved physical appearance.
Cleaning helps to remove harmful bacteria and germs that could spread to others,
especially children. Good hygiene also plays a role in preventing the spread of
communicable diseases like measles and influenza.
Health care:
Human health care is essential to human survival and happiness. We often take our
current state of health for granted until we fall ill or hurt ourselves. At this point, it
may seem impossible to reverse the effects of the injury. However, human health
care solutions exist today and allow patients to recover faster and get back to their
normal lives much sooner. Human health care should be the top priority of any
medical facility and should be taken seriously.
Transportation:
Before we talk about transportation, let us first understand what transportation
means. Transports mean the movements of things from one place to another, usually
through some kind of conveyance. Transporting refers to moving something from
one place to another using vehicle or any other type of means. So, before starting
our list of the top 10 best transportation for human beings, let me tell you what the
meaning of transportation is.
• Car
A car is nothing but a motorized vehicle that carries passengers. A car is used for
different purposes like commuting between two places, going on trips, and even
transporting goods. In India, car ownership has risen dramatically within the last
couple of years, with cities like Bengaluru has seen a spurt in the number of cars.
According to the report published by World Urbanization Prospects 2018, we can
expect the automobile industry to boom since more affluent households are
expected to boost the demand in the future. This will help in improving the economic
condition of low-income populations. Currently, India ranks the sixth position globally
for the total number of cars. There were 9.923 million registered cars in India in
2017.
• Bus
Buses are the cheapest form of transport compared to trains and airplanes. Buses
are the most preferred mode of public transport. It’s available at affordable prices.
Buses offer cheap and comfortable rides. They cover large distances which makes
them a good choice for long-distance travel. Generally, buses run frequently making
tickets cost-effective. However, travelers often complain about issues related to bus
timings and cancellations.
• Train
The train is another popular method of commute. We all want to have an extra space
to work with while traveling. The train provides roomy compartments where you can
spread out and relax after completing a day’s work. Let me give you an example, if I
am working as a software engineer then I prefer taking the Bullet train rather than the
flight due to its affordability, reliability, and fast pace. It is the world's fastest railway
network. You can take a train from Mumbai to Kolkata in just six hours. Many trains
are running within India, and they vary in every aspect. From speed to facilities to
amenities, everything differs from one train to another. It is now considered a
luxurious way of traveling.
Safety:
Safety is continually on the top of our list. We want to be sure that everyone is safe
while working with us. There are many hazards involved with the cannabis industry
and we take safety seriously. That being said, there are some things we take steps
to ensure the public is protected from harm.
We believe that everyone should be fully aware of any potential risks they may
encounter. Therefore, we offer several resources to help educate ourselves as well
as others. From basic to advanced training courses, we provide education that
covers everything from the basics to specialized topics such as pest management.
Communication:
Communication is defined as the act of exchanging thoughts and opinions between
two people. It is the flow of information from sender to receiver. We communicate
through different media including written word, verbal speech, gestures, and visual
images. There are various types of communication in our lives; they are face-to-face,
phone calls, voice mail, email, social networking, text messaging, etc. Every form of
communication has its advantages and disadvantages. According to researchers, we
spend approximately 50% of our time communicating with others. However, even
though we may think that we are using some methods of communicating effectively,
it seems that we are failing miserably at them.
