Grade 4 History of Flight Project

1. The first flight was by the wright
brothers the plane was flying for 12
seconds. It flew in North Carolina

2. The Chinese invented kites 2800years ago
before Jesus was born kites use pressure
from the wind to keep them in the air.

3. The hot air balloon was invented by Joseph-Michel Montgolfier
and his brother Jacques-Etienne Montigolfier in 1782 but some
other people say they invented it first . Hot air rises so when you
heat up the air in the balloon the balloon rises with it .
