2. Welcome to the I Am A Leader Reader Series. This series is designed to enhance your child's reading
ability, critical thinking skills, and leadership qualities.
As they learn to read they will become more confident in their reading comprehension. As they
become more confident readers, ask them the critical thinking questions at the back of the book.
The best way to teach your child to read is by consistently reading to them for short periods of time.
As a result this book was designed to be used over a five day span for 15 minutes a day.

Introduce AN WORDS. Go around your home and look for AN words. This will allow them to put a picture to
the words.
Day 2:

Day 3:
Do the flash cards. Remember make it fun.You can jump, clap,nor wiggle after every word.
Day 4:
Read the story and color in the pictures. The story was designed for your child to draw in the pictures. Feel free
to print out the leader story.This method will allow them to better remember the words.
Day 5:
Read the story.Your child should be able to start reading the story. Review any part off the book as needed.
