DIY Cupboards.com manufactures a range of melamine impact
doors and PVC wrapped doors. Browse through our different
colors and door profiles available. We will assist you with making
the correct choices for the style you want to achieve.

your kitchen and its practicality such as spice racks, carousels,
bins and many more.

your appliances handy and also the positions you want them to be.
This measurement will be helpful for you and for the sales consultant to
help you.
Here are some tips for you to help measure:
• When measuring, measure between walls and in between doors and
windows.
• Indicate where you want to put appliances and make note of the positions
of plumbing and electrical points. Take note of where your distribution
board (DB) is to ensure it does not interfere with any cupboards.
• Measure your floor to ceiling heights.
• Select units from our list of standard sizes.
• Ensure when selecting a floor unit for your sink that it will fit the sink.
• Select from our range of drawer units and select the type of drawer runner
you would prefer.

8. SELECTYOUR DOORS RANGE
DIYCupboards.com has a selection of hanging cupboards, combination
cupboards and shelf cupboards.
When you install built in cupboards (BIC) it’s important to work from the
corner away to the end of the row of BIC’S.
The reason for that is so that you can determine the width of the side
filler that’s going to go between the side of the cupboard and the wall.
Once you have placed all the cupboards in position, levelled them and
attached them to the wall you can start fitting the hinges onto the doors.
Our doors are pre-drilled for the hinges so there’s no struggling to align
the cabinet up with one another. The larger section is called the hinge, and
the smaller section being the hinge plate.
The Hinge plate is the part that gets mounted onto the carcass. Adjusting
the built in cupboard doors can be quite tricky. To align the bottom of the
cupboard with the bottom of the door you can either place a plank flush
with the bottom under te cupboard, or rest the door on one of the adjustable
PVC legs. After the doors are on, you can fit the handles, side panels, fillers
and kickplate of the built in cupboard and ten you’re done.
And that’s how we install our clients built in cupboards.

broadly known as melamine im-
pact doors. A chipboard door is a
flat panel door with no shape or
profile in the centre of the door.
You can’t router the edge of flat
panel chipboard door because
the chipboard will break apart
and leave a rough finished edge.
Melamine impact doors comes

PVC wrapped doors is a
quality durable door made of
Supa Wood (MDF). A profile
gets cut on the edges and the
centre of the doors.You can

No Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are produced in the advanced
Lustrolite manufacturing process.
CLEANING Lustrolite is easy to keep clean using warm soapy
water and a microfibre cloth, chamois, or squeegee.
Its hygienic, non-stick surface will not harbor the build up of mould,
bacteria, soap or calcium. Due to the large panel sizes, grout usage is
eliminated.
SCRATCH RESISTANT A high performance hard coat on
the outer surface provides high scratch and chemical resistance, and
affords effortless cleaning.
Lustrolite will not scratch, crack, warp, stain or discolour from normal
residential use.
