1. Daybook Entry #1
The fact that so many stories have similar versions throughout different cultures is
very exciting for me. These cultures that had similar stories had no contact with
each other also amazes me. Myth also compares with fiction writing except for the
fact that they have no time frame and have no rules. Nothing so far has confused me.
Daybook #2
The man talked about many issues an issue I thought was most alarming was the
issue of money. The dissolution of money is a very radical idea. The thought of
destroying what many people have stood for and committed their lives to is almost
to much to handle. Yes money corrupts people but it also gives people hope and
happiness in some ways and can be comforting. His ideas were somewhat close to
communism but based off of resources. The end to all wars is somewhat impossible
because they’re will always be someone that starts them.
Daybook #3
It was really bad he just talked about thanking the girl that agreed to have sex with
him in a chapel. I thought that was morally wrong and didn’t like the story because
of it. It does however talk of love between the two souls.

This video tells us how amazing our memory works and the amount of information
we put into our heads. It also shows the importance and power of propaganda and
what it do to keep our memory of what ever they are trying to sell to us.
Daybook #5
There is a theme of family life. There are older appliances throughout the video.
Daybook #6
The most important work I had was the Gun Crazy paper. I believe that I explained
my topics thoroughly and proved my thesis statement. I had some mistakes of
course but they were small and I learned from it very quickly. My weaknesses in
writing are not going into good enough detail leaving the reader with not enough
information. My strengths are staying on topic and smooth transitions. I’ve learned
throughout my time in this class how to effectively write thesis statements. I didn’t
really have many challenges but I learned from them nonetheless. When starting a
paper I begin by thinking of topics to choose from and which would yield the better
paper. My grammar has improved as well.
