On behalf of the Kuwait National Child Protection Program (KNCPP) it gives me
great pleasure to invite you to participate at the 4th
Regional Conference on
Child Protection Against Violence that will be held from the 18th
-20th
of April,
2016 under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Ali Saad Al-Obaidi, Minister of
Health in Kuwait. The conference aims at protecting children in Arab countries by
addressing opportunities and challenges. The high-calibre program is prepared
through an accumulation of collaborative efforts between the KNCCP, the
Arab Society for the Prevention Child Abuse and Neglect (Arab SPCAN) and the
International Society for the Prevention Child Abuse and neglect (ISPCAN).
This prestigious conference brings together regional and international experts
working in the field of countering and preventing violence against children, who
will share their expertise and promote evidence-based practice in preventing
and responding to child maltreatment. The faculty panel include researchers,
academics, physicians, psychologists, social workers, law enforcement agency
officials, and international leaders. The conference will convene over a three-
day program and present a high-level scientific content with major updates and
state-of-the-art presentations, keynote sessions, symposia, discussion forums,
scientific papers and workshops.
The conference provides a unique opportunity to engage practitioners,
researchers, policy makers and others from the region and international arena.
