Language vs mathematics
1. LANGUAGE VS MATHEMATICS
We all know that most students cannot make their decision in the subject they will study at
university. Most universities offer a lot of interesting subject, so that makes students confused
in their choice. Most students are looking forward an interesting job after graduation. For these
students subjects like language and Mathematics are appropriate for them. Despite this
common nature of both subject, there are some differences between the two subjects, as a
person with experience in these two disciplines I will describe in this essay the similarities and
differences between these two subjects.
All students dream to get an interesting job after graduation. Both mathematics and
language offer job opportunities after graduation, and this will help students who study
mathematics or language to get a job after graduation. In reality both mathematics and
language require memorizing and understanding. Students who study mathematics should
understand the process of solving the equation. In the same way, students who study
language have to understand the meaning of vocabulary and how to speak with others. In
short both subjects require practice, and without understanding the student cannot learn, and
also they both have job opportunities and social degree among the people.
On the other hand there are differences between these two subjects. In terms of studying
language require practicing with others; Students who study a language must practice and
talk with others. As academic study isn't enough in the study of language, because how can
they learn a language if they don't speak it? Whereas mathematics can be done alone;
Students who study mathematics have to do a lot of calculations and solve equation
theoretically, so they don't need to practice with others. And this is the major difference
between these two subjects.
To conclude, language and Mathematics are both require memorizing and understanding.
But they are different in the way of studying them; mathematics can be done alone, but in
contrast, language require to practice with native peoples. And I think these two subjects are
significant and very interesting job, and this is what any student dreamed to get.
