Counselling is an interactive between the counsellor and the counselee
to help the counselee's needs.

relationship embrace the goal and describe the
conceptualization of this relationship :-

therapist but open to co-operative restructuring based on
the needs of the client.
β’ 2) A relationship that begins with the initial meeting and
continues through termination.
β’ 3) A relationship in which all persons involved percieve the
existence of trust, caring, concern and commitment and act
accordingly.
4. β’ 4)A relationship in which the needs of the client are given priority
over the needs of the counsellor or therapist.
β’ 5) A relationship the provides for the personal growth of all persons
involved.
5. Definition :-
β’ β’ Counselling is a process by means of which the helper
expresses care and concern towards the person with a
problem, and facilitates that person's personal growth and
brings about change through self knowledge Counseling
deals with wellness, personal growth, career, and
pathological concerns. In other words, counselors work in
areas that involve relationships. These areas include intra-
and interpersonal concerns related to finding meaning and
adjustment in such settings as schools, families, and careers.

7. Scope of councelling :-

approach -"the here and now" Problems in terms of client's

phenomenological approach, cognitive or thought
modification.

problems or behavioral modification with understanding of
basic behavioral concepts as conditions, reinforcement,
