FACTS ABOUT FOOD IN NIGERIA
Firstly, when it comes to food, Nigeria is the
world largest producer of Cassava, which is
used in making “Eba” a popular food in Nigeria.
In Nigeria, this food known as “Eba”, also
known as Garri, Made from Cassava, Its pattern
of consumption varies according to ecological
zones. Garri, a roasted granule is the dominant
product, and is widely accepted in both rural
and Urban areas.
Finally, rice is another food produced in
Nigeria. It is a critical component of the Nigerian
diet and the other side, a major consumer of the
country’s foreign exchange. Nigeria is the
largest rice producing country in west Africa, in

In Nigeria, culture is very important. Thinking big is
what separate Nigeria from other Africans, and as a
traveller who likes travelling a lot, if you want to prepare
yourself for any cultural shocks, you may come across.
Nigerian culture is as multi-ethnic as the people in
Nigeria. The people of Nigeria still cherish their traditional
languages, music, dance, and literature.
Ultimately, Nigerian culture gives a lot of importance
in treating the guest with utmost care and warmth. The
hospitality of people represent this tradition, and that is
why people are not supposed to say thank you, when they
are offered food. The Nigerian culture is as old as 2000
years, and what makes it stand out is its diversity.
FACTS ABOUT TOURISM IN NIGERIA
Talking of tourism, it is stated as being
a well established phenomenon across
Africa , for example in Nigeria.
Secondly, in Nigeria, tourism is a major
economic force and a key driver for
development.
Ultimately, in Nigeria, tourism is an
important mechanism for social exchange,
and identity building at both the individual
and also national level.
CONCLUSION
Ultimately, in conclusion, concerning the major
features of Nigeria, which comprises of food, tourism and
cultures. Nigeria has a lot of attractive places to visit. Like
that of Tinapa in Calabar, Kigoso Water fall in Ekiti state
which I have already stated in the beginning.
Not only that, in Nigeria, there are many cultures that
will entice many visitors to the country, which I have stated
also in the beginning. Each of the major ethnic group, have
their own way of dancing, dressing and speaking, that
makes them unique.
Finally, food is another feature that was mentioned. It
is another thing that is unique in Nigeria, especially the way
its being prepared, and also the type. It is another feature
of Nigeria where guest are treated with utmost care and
