I am responsible for JROTC Leadership training at High Schools where I was responsible for delivering
lectures, hands on training, and valued instruction within grades 9 thru 12. Instruction is centered on a
course curriculum of motivating young individuals to become better citizens. Classesinclude Citizenship
in Action, Leadership Theory and Application, Wellness-Fitness-First Aid, Geography-Map Skills,

Army Recruiter
As an Army Recruiter I was responsible for contacting, interviewing, and advising candidates on how to
become qualified for enlistment into the Army. I contacted school representatives, public officials,
personnel managers, colleges and universities; parents of prospective applicants, religious and civic
leaders, and others to present the Army as an employment and career opportunity. I presented formal
and informal talks tovariousgroupsonthe advantagesof the Army as a career.
I interviewed and counseled prospective candidates, discussed individual aims and goals to include
security,personal aptitudes,trainingopportunities,jobsatisfactionandstability,advancement,prestige,
and military life. I explained US Army benefits including: medical benefits, allowances, housing,
reenlistmentbonuses, retirementprograms,educational opportunities,travel,recreationalbenefits,and
all similar programs. I evaluated applicants' occupational,educational, and psychological background to
determine qualifications for specific programs and jobs. I explained Army occupational and
organizational structure toapplicants,parents,andinterestedgroupsof individuals.
