WORK EXPERIENCE:
2014-Present Registered Nurse Passport Health
My duties as a registered nurse working in Passport Health are to counsel patients on disease prevention when
traveling to foreign countries. I also administer all vaccines necessary for travel recommended by the CDC, call in
standing medication orders to the pharmacy, handle invoices, cash money, and complete inventory.
Summer 2015 Clerical, Child Care Worker FIU Center for Children & Families
My duties as a clerical and child care worker for the Center for Children and Families at Florida International
University included the assistance of their Summer Treatment Program Summer Camp for attention deficit
hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children. I was in charge of managing patient charts, motivating and developing
students in areas of leadership, and assisting as a secondary nurse during the camp.
2013-2014 Support Specialist Simulation Teaching and Research Center
My duties as a support specialist included preparing simulation rooms for scenarios, stocking medical instruments,
ensuring equipment is properly maintained, and giving tours to high level visitors. I also assisted in playing the role
of a standardized patient in simulation scenarios as well as troubleshooting mannequins, computers, and
audio/visual equipment for simulation suites.
2007-2009 Junior Counselor Belen Jesuit Summer Camp
For two summers, my duties as a counselor were to make sure that my designated group of children were safe from
any danger, behaving orderly, actively participating in every sport, and enjoying their summer. I was in charge of
actively supervising them throughout the day, gathering and preparing their lunches, providing them with swimming
lessons, and coordinating their annual dance showcase.
