Michael Simon has over twenty years of experience identifying and developing profitable markets
within the automotive industry. He has acquired over $200 million in new service and parts
business with over ten automotive original equipment manufacturers including Ford, Toyota,
Honda and Nissan. Service sales are comprised of sales program development, engineering,
contract management, warranty cost savings, purchasing management and customer
satisfaction/profitability. Parts include both chassis components and various multi-media
products both new and remanufactured.
As a strategic new business acquisition executive, Mr. Simon has worked within Ford, as well as
suppliers before launching his own company, OEM Service Parts Solutions. OEM Service Parts
Solutions has successfully supported global companies in developing North American OEM
opportunities.
Mr Simon consistently creates profitable revenue growth through innovation and energetic
development of high value relationships as well as strategic understanding of the OEM
ecosystem. He leverages experience, knowledge and networks to add value for a wide variety of
domestic and global suppliers and OEMs.
Mr. Simons Accomplishments include:
*Launching multiple new business opportunities within Ford Components Sales resulting in $128
million in new revenue consisting of warranty repair and product sales.
*Planning and implementing North American OEM launch for 2-European Auto Supplier.
*Developing strategy for outperforming peer suppliers to GM, Chrysler and Ford in SKU’s
delivered including innovated blended pricing approach.
*Accessories Parts Sales Manager of the Year, Ford – Established new sales channel leading to
$28 million in new accessory parts sales.
*Motorcraft National Sales Leader, Ford Customer Service Division – Dominated 145 person sales
team delivering $48 million in revenue ($16 million incremental sales).
*Electronics Sales Leader of the Year – New multimedia product launch, grew sales from zero to
$4.8 million in the first year.
*Remanufactured Parts Sales Leader of the Year, Visteon - Architected $680 million in post
divestiture sales into Ford Motor Company while improving profitability and customer
satisfaction.
*Ford Q1 Process Manager – Revolutionized Q1 audit process, and slashed audit completion
timeframes by 70% and saved $2.8 million while delivering more accurate audits.
*Engineering Service Management - Managed quality delivery of multimedia product including
manufacturing plant and port vehicle trouble shooting diagnostic and remediation processes.
While earning his B.S. in Industrial Technology, Mr. Simon worked in the oil exploration business.
Mr. Simon learned numerous business and “Life Lessons” while becoming both an expert
Licensed Blaster and Nuclear Logging Engineer. Due to the dangerous nature of this work, the
