 Reduced the cost of Risk from 6.9% of revenue to 2% over the last 10 years
 Reduced the company Experience Modification Rate from 2.25 to 1.0 over the last 10 years
 Implemented telematics (GPS) to improve vehicle accident rate from 30% of vehicles to 7%. Accompanied with a
strong driving policy cut vehicle accidents rate by 55%. Rollins has over 9000 vehicles and drives in excess of 208
million miles per year.
 Implemented numerous safety training programs and policies to modify behavior and reduce accident rates,examples
would include ladder safety,respiratory protection,driver safety,safe lifting techniques, hazardous communication,
confined space,etc, etc.
 Responsible for managing the Company Insurance Broker and underwriters to place our excess insurance coverages.
 Regularly do risk presentations for senior management, field management and industry groups
 Sit on the Executive Safety Board that puts forth policies and procedures to deal with exposure trends that require
attention to ensure a first class culture of safe work practices
 Implemented a pre-hire physicalexam program (compliant with ADA standards)designed to reduce the cost of
workers' compensation by selecting applicants able to perform the essentialfunctions of the job. Program reduced our
workers' compensation costs by 33%.
 Implemented a Driving Policy based upon Motor Vehicle Records and chargeable accidents.Program helped reduce
vehicle accident rate by 55%.
 Implemented the company modified duty return to work program
 Implemented the company Nurse Triage program which focused on reducing the frequency and severity of workers'
compensation claims.
 Implemented a zero tolerance ban on use of cell phones while driving that Senior Management fully supports.
 Conduct continuous risk assessments along with recommendations to Senior Management to ensure immerging
exposure trends are addressed and managed.
 Manage a staff of 19 insurance professionals.My staff is divided into sections which include the claims department,
financial department, insurance compliance, and safety.
