3. • Rationale
Inherent to Filipino is helping one another in times
of grief, such as when someone in the family dies or
greatly need assistance. Even in scarcity of funds and any
resources, we really have something to give or contribute,
to ease the pain of the bereaved family, and those who are
badly affected on the situation.
In this time of pandemic, we are limited to move,
to work and money is very useful especially for
hospitalization, for burial expenses such as for coffin, fees
for the cemetery, death certificate, transportation, and
many more.
In view of this condition, the BFMC will launch a
program to facilitate giving of financial assistance among
its members. This program is called the ‘ICARE movement”.

4. VISION
The Social Services and Development Ministry of BFMC for their
members.
MISION
• To build caring and sharing communities among the members of
BFMC.
• To enable the growth and development of servant leadership

5. Qualifications How To Become An ICARE Member
A. For Individual Members:
1. ICARE is open to all bona fide BFMC members.
2. Age must be from 7 years old to 70 years old.
3. Must pay a lifetime ICARE Membership fee of P100.00
B. For Group Members:
1. ICARE is open to all interested families who has at least
one bona fide BFMC member.
2. Must pay a lifetime ICARE Group Membership Fee of
P360.00

6. Documentary Requirements
1. Upon registration members are required to fill-up the
ICARE form and submit the following documents:
a. For Individual Member
Birth Certificate or any legal document indicating
his/her birth date.

b. For Group Member
Marriage contract for the spouse and birth certificate or
legal adoption paper for the children.

7. Fees and Contributions
1. For Individual member
Lifetime Membership fee after filling-up the ICARE
membership form together with other documentary
requirements.
ICARE annual contribution is only P365.00
2. For Group member
Lifetime Group Membership fee after filling-up the
ICARE membership form together with other
documentary requirements.
ICARE annual contribution is only P1500.00

8. Benefits
a. Burial Assistance
Upon death of an ICARE member, the family will receive P15.00
per member of the ICARE program as long as he has paid his
annual contribution in full.
For Group Member P50.00 per group member of the ICARE
program as long as they have paid their annual contribution in
full.
b. Hospitalization
Upon hospitalization of an ICARE member, he will receive a
cumulative P200.00 per day with a maximum of seven (7) days,
with proof of Hospital Admission, and as long as he has paid his
annual contribution in full.
For Group Member they will receive a cumulative P200.00 per
day with a maximum of thirty (30) days, with proof of Hospital
Admission, and as long as they have paid their annual
contribution in full.

9. Benefits
c. Fire Incident Assistance
the family of an ICARE member will receive P15.00 per member
of the ICARE program as long as he has paid his annual
contribution in full.
P50.00 per group member of the ICARE program as long as they
have paid their annual contribution in full.
d. Other Disasters / Relief Assistance
the family of an ICARE member will receive P15.00 per member
of the ICARE program as long as he has paid his annual
contribution in full.

10. REGISTRATION OF MEMBERS
The BFMC shall provide the list of their qualified members.
All interested members shall comply all the requirements.
