2. How Does Pledges Work?
We use a mechanism called fiscal sponsorship to share our
charitable status with projects across the globe. If we agree to
sponsor you, you’ll now have access to all of these benefits
Tax-relief for your US donor
Tax-exemption on any donations receive
Ability to receive donations from any US state
Ability to receive donations from anywhere in the worl
Ability to apply for nonprofit and charity grant
Ability to use Pledges EIN to fundraise as a charit
Up to $10,000 of match-funding from directly from Pledge
And access to all future benefits we receive too
3. What are the Costs?
Most fiscal sponsors charge between 5% and 20% of revenues
to access their fiscal sponsorship. On average, Pledges is 99%
cheaper than most fiscal sponsors.
Monthly membership is $29.99 per month
Annual membership is $249.99 per year
There’s no hidden fees or charges, once you join Pledges, as long
as you continue your membership, that’s all you’ll ever have to
pay to get access to fiscal sponsorship
4. All projects on Pledges are elligible for
upto $10,000 in match-funding!
5. What is Match Funding?
Doing charitable good takes time, energy, and money. As
Pledges is a small team, we can’t personally support you in your
fundraising efforts, but we can match $-for-$ the first $10,000
you raise toward your project.
We release match-funding on a weekly-basis and there’s no
time-limit or cap on when you can claim. All you need to do is
have a live Pledges membership in order to claim.
6. How do I Get Started?
We’ll send you a quick form which takes ~3 minutes to
complete, and if we can sponsor you, we can have your project
sponsored in minutes.
