Work Samples
These Work Samples are from my most recent work experience in the Hu lab, and were chosen
to match my application to my next internship best. Please see the Portfolio section “Additional
Work Samples” for a more diverse sampling. The two sections are separate to allow evaluators
who value brevity to simply look at this section, which can stand as a representation of my work
on its own, while evaluators who have the time and inclination may easily look at more of my
work in the Additional Work Samples section if they want to. Either way is acceptable, and the
choice is left to the evaluator’s discretion.
Tracker Positioning
The below image is the position of a dog tail over time, as plotted by me using a Physics analysis
program called Tracker. The red position vectors and points refer to the tip of the tail, while their
blue counterparts represent the base of the tail. This particular dog was a American Staffordshire.
The purple lines mark the axes and origin. These data points were then further analysed with
Matlab, as seen in the next sample.

Matlab Script
An example of a Matlab script I created at the Hu lab. This script generates the mean frequency
of the wagging of the tail of a particular Pit Bull Terrier. The numbers represent tail position
values. Individual scripts were created for 11 separate dogs.

Graphed Data
Below is finalized Graphed Data for most of the dogs studied. Standardization and further
analysis was required.
In addition to these samples, I will happily provide additional work samples that cannot be
presented in this portfolio at the evaluators discretion: for example, the video of my Conrad
Innovation Challenge Power Pitch.
