How Digital Transformation Is Changing The Way We Work
20 years of evolution at The Media Exchange
1. The Media Exchange – 20 Years of Evolution
For some of us life without a smart phone is a distant memory, and
for others it’s barely even a memory at all. Everything is evolving all
the time, but technology is changing in front of our eyes. As Darwin
said, “Natural Selection causes much Extinction of the less
improved forms of life.” This would explain what happened to
Teletext and the VHS player, but in an ever-changing world, how do
we keep businesses from extinction?
The Media Exchange have specialized in recruitment for advertising
space for 20 years – a lifetime in terms of technological changes –
and they continue to stay at the top by constantly combining
what’s new, with what’s important in an increasingly creative way.
So what’s changed in 20 years? In the 90s we saw the infamous
Wonderbra, ‘Hello Boys’ billboard actually stop traffic, but imagine
the effect it would have had now as a 2015 moving, digital image?
As well as this we have seen TV channels multiply and mobile
phones go from just being in the hands of people in high-powered
jobs, to in the hands of, well … everyone. We have seen the
Internet takeover and in its reign birth social media, online bloggers
and viral videos. And as the industry grows, so does The Media
Exchange and for 20 years they have used evolution to create a
media revolution and ensure they are never left behind.
But in an ever-changing industry; in an ever-changing world, the
one thing that The Media Exchange will never change is their
company ethos to provide a quality service and business with a
heart; and by combining contemporary technology with traditional
values, they will always stay one step ahead.
