WORK EXPERIENCE
MARKETING & SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR
STARPLEX CINEMAS/ 2009-2015
Responsibilities:
 Daily communication with Marketing Director, Concessions
Director, Film Buyers, IT Department and film studios
regarding in-theater sales and advertising.
 Work closely with film studio representatives in compiling
weekly trailer placements, as well as discussing social
media promotions. Also procured prizes for social media
contests.
 Constant communication with National Cine Media
regarding programming and on-screen marketing.
 Facilitate the booking of special events at our theaters
(TUGG, Fathom Events, birthdays, field trips, corporate
events, etc.).
 Organization of new theatre opening activities (radio
remotes, photo booth rentals, facepainters, celebrity look-a-
likes and promotional items for giveaways)
 Responsible for the handling of all donation inquiries for
company.
SERVER & TRAINER
HIBISCUS RESTAURANT/ 2005-2013
Responsibilities:
 Opened restaurant in February of 2005 and developed the
initial training manual for servers and new trainees.
 Responsible for daily sales in excess of $2000.
 Coordinated multiple special events for the restaurant.
