Executive Summary
Factor.bid is accounts receivable invoice bidding. Referrals have long
been the most profitable source of revenue for businesses, yet most
factor banks have limited access to business owners at the exact
moment when new customer acquisition is available. Our innovative
referral platform utilizes real time business transactions to maximize
new customer acquisition conversion.
Factoring is a financial transaction and a type of debtor finance in
which a business sells its accounts receivable (i.e., invoices) to a third
party (or a factor) at a discount. A business will sometimes factor its
receivable assets to meet its present and immediate cash needs.
Summary
$100 billion worth of factoring is done every year in the United States. It’s estimated there
are about 789 factoring companies in the United States according to International Factoring
Association (IFA). Factoring is used by many of the largest corporations in the world to
improve cash flow, support growth, and increase profits; for example, Snapple Tea grew to
have sales of hundreds of millions of dollars a year by utilizing factoring.
Factor.bid empowers business customers by providing them with information and leverage
to negotiate the best rate and terms for their business invoices with the factoring
companies.
Customer Problem
Factoring is widely accepted as the single most effective method to acquire immediate cash
flow for growing businesses. However, the vast majority of business owners looking to sell
their accounts receivable invoices are stuck with outdated and costly methods. In addition,
there are no widely available systems that help business owners shop for the best rate and
terms for their business invoices. This represents a huge opportunity for us.
Our Solution
Our simple app enables business owners to painlessly shop their invoices for the best rate
and terms. They receive competitive bids for their invoices from multiple Factor banks that
realize they have to be competitive in order to earn the invoice owners business. When
Factors compete, the business owners win!
Target Markets
Our goal is to become the world’s most widely-used Factoring platform. To accomplish this,
we have created a strategic marketing plan reach the 2.5 million business owners in the
transportation and logistics industry. With over 4 years of combined experience in
Factoring, B2B marketing and Transportation Industry Services we’ve created a robust
database of target market clients and customers.
Customers
Our platform is designed to support many different types of industry businesses that use
Factoring for their business cash flow needs. Customer Acquisition Strategy: Our
acquisition strategy utilizes three coordinated components:
1. Launch Partner Factors - Strategic alliances are being created with Factor banks, to deliver them
real-time leads.
2. Consumer Accounts - Focused on the Transportation and Logistics industry of which 2.5 million
potential customers exist.
3. Investment Partners - As growth naturally occurs, our team leaders will recruit investment
partners to expand our consumer accounts into new industry verticals. This will increase client
enrollment, adoption, revenue optimization and member/partner retention.
These low-cost sales strategies will be complemented by targeted online advertising
campaigns in social networking channels including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
Revenue Model
Our revenue model is comprised of three elements: A vendor membership fee which will be
$2,499 monthly or $29,988 annually, ongoing purchase of bid credits ($1.00 = 1 credit) and
a bid participation fee that starts at $5 up to $50 dollars per lead.
Competitors
Currently Factor.bid is the only factoring app that allows customers to shop for the best rate
and terms. We do not have immediate direct competition.
Brokers in the trucking industry sometimes factor individual loads, however this is not
always convenient for the factoring business customer.
While brokers may be considered competitors, they can also utilize Factor.bid to find new
customer leads.

We believe we have numerous competitive advantages including:
 Our entire application has been designed to optimize new customer acquisition
 We are first to market as a comprehensive referral marketing platform for factoring leads
 Patents have been filed for our lead gen technology which is unique in the industry
 The founders have existing relationships with several investors and mass influencers
Management
With over 40 years of combined experience in transportation and logistics industries, our
team has a clear vision and strategy for building Factor.bid into the ultimate referral
marketing platform for factoring leads, a 100 billion dollar a year industry. Having built
partnership relationships with Factor banks over the past few years, we have proven
success in new customer lead generation, direct marketing to both B2B and B2C clients.
Funding Strategy
To minimize investor risk, 100% of our budget to date has been funded by our founder.
Now that the foundation of our platform has been built, we are interviewing select
investors to participate in a $1 Million convertible note round offering a 10% APY along
with preferential conversion rights.

Customer Acquisition Strategy: Our acquisition strategy utilizes three coordinated components: 1. Launch Partner Factors - Strategic alliances are being created with Factor banks, to deliver them real-time leads. 2. Consumer Accounts - Focused on the Transportation and Logistics industry of which 2.5 million potential customers exist. 3. Investment Partners - As growth naturally occurs, our team leaders will recruit investment partners to expand our consumer accounts into new industry verticals. This will increase client enrollment, adoption, revenue optimization and member/partner retention. These low-cost sales strategies will be complemented by targeted online advertising campaigns in social networking channels including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Revenue Model Our revenue model is comprised of three elements: A vendor membership fee which will be $2,499 monthly or $29,988 annually, ongoing purchase of bid credits ($1.00 = 1 credit) and a bid participation fee that starts at $5 up to $50 dollars per lead. Competitors Currently Factor.bid is the only factoring app that allows customers to shop for the best rate and terms. We do not have immediate direct competition. Brokers in the trucking industry sometimes factor individual loads, however this is not always convenient for the factoring business customer. While brokers may be considered competitors, they can also utilize Factor.bid to find new customer leads.
