PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
Green Professional Association: Public charity dedicated to giving back to the Green, Ohio
community through mentorships, scholarships, and service; while furthering its members'
professional careers through an interdisciplinary approach to education, networking and
overall professional growth.
Akron After School: A program which combines reading and math tutoring with enrichment.
Students begin the afternoon with a snack and tutoring session, then enjoy exploring new
interests with community-based partners. Enrichment topics include golf, acting, visual
arts, dancing, cheerleading, scouting, martial arts, juggling, sign language, video
production, tennis, and much more.
A.S.C.P.L Staff Association Vice-President: The membership in the Staff Association shall
be open to all members of the staff except the Director, Deputy Director, Branch Library
General Manager, Human Resources Director and Generalists and assistant. For Staff
Association, staff members shall include all full-time, part-time, and job-share employees,
substitutes and student assistants.
City of Green Park and Recreation Board: The Parks and Recreation Division works for
the city to create community and quality of life through people, parks and programs. With
more than 530 acres in ten parks, the Parks and Recreation Division is committed to
providing the best overall experience in our award-winning parks, fun, family-
friendly special events throughout the year and outstanding recreation programming
for children, families, adults and seniors.
