4. Activity 2 :-
Place a mirror perpendicular on a table.
Hold different objects like pen, watch, bottle,
marker pen etc. in front of the mirror.
Observe the image.
➢Is the size of the object and the image the same?

5. Keeping a scale in front of the mirror,
place these objects at different positions and observe.
Find out the distance of the image when the distance
of the object from the mirror is increased

6. Note down the difference in
size and distance when move towards the
mirror.

➢The size of the image will be the same
as that of the object.
➢The distance between the image and the
mirror is equal to the distance between
the object and the mirror.
