6. Objective of the trial
To compare the efficacy of CIRCOVAC
and another PCV2 piglet vaccine
7. Farm
• 600 sows farrow to finish commercial farm
• Depop-repop, reconstruction in 2010
• High health status (free from PRRS, App,
swine dysentery)
8. Trial
• Weekly batches
• 16 weeks from august 2011
• 3 groups (320-350 piglets each)

No significant difference in the 3
vaccination methods comparing the losses
and the ADWG
FCR was better for the CIRCOVAC group
then for the other vaccine
