Objective
I am seeking a challenging position that will utilize my talent and skill as an artist in an environment
that will foster personal and professional growth. The ideal position would leverage my existing
expertise and passion for the creative process while presenting me with opportunities to refine and
expand my skill set and aptitude.
Summary
I excel in interpreting and conceptualizing client needs and presenting their ideas in a clear and
organized manner, resulting in a creative product that exceeds expectations. This, combined with
my passion for art, as well as extreme patience and attention to detail, allows me to deliver
professional grade work. In my personal time, I frequently create art in a variety of mediums.
Painting and sculpting require a precise touch and an attention to detail that I find highly rewarding,
while illustration and animation, both traditional and digital, give me an opportunity to bring
characters and scenes to life using visualization techniques, unique character designs, as well as
expressive movement, composition, and staging. Breathing life into a story is truly what drives my
passion, whether it takes several hundred drawings to make one bouncy puppy dog or just one
detailed sketch to portray that perfectly crooked, villainous smile.
Projects
Professional
Pensive Fox, LLC – I have a self-authored and illustrated children’s book that is currently in
development.
2. 2/3
Contract Artist – Working with clients, I assisted with proofreading the children’s book they had
written, then collaborated with them to create the characters, backgrounds and overall style to
their satisfaction, giving them a wide range of options in the finished illustrations. When
completed, the 24 page book, “The Monkey’s Way”, was published by the clients through
Xlibris.
First Solar – Personally requested by a senior manager of the 6th
largest solar company in the
world and a Fortune 1000 company, I designed a 2Gw logo for the operations and maintenance
department company shirts.
Picmonic – I produced illustrations for interactive audiovisual mnemonics purposed for medical
education. In a group of approximately eight artists and several medical experts, I proved
myself to be a valuable asset to the team.
Personal
Illustrations – Still image storytelling is a fun and beautiful way to express any idea, whether as a
conceptual tool or as an individual piece of art. I currently have a number of greeting card
concepts and completed illustrations that capture the viewer and convey an entire story at a
glance.
Clay figurines – I really enjoy working with Sculpey clay to create my own unique characters in
various dynamic poses. Once baked, I hand paint the figures with acrylic and seal them with
Polyurethane for a polished look. Though motionless, there is something special about art that
can be held and viewed from all angles that gives it its own form of life and movement.
Fine art – My attention to detail in my graphite drawings is what truly brings them to life. I also
have experience in both acrylic and oil painting.
