The degradation rate of forests and forest areas in Indonesia is very concerned. Various rehabilitation efforts have been done, including the implementation of the agroforestry system. In the Bungo Regency, one of the agroforestry forms that have been implemented is the agroforestry of rubberdipterocarp in the community rubber forest. The productivity of the community rubber sap has still considered low. One of the causes is the height of growth and sap production variation because several rubber farmers haven’t been considering selection of a bit of blood yet. The research was done in the rubber land owned by community and used seeds on the initial cultivation which derived from unimproved seeds. This research aims to find out the productivity rate of rubber sap in the rubber agroforestry (rubber-dipterocarp) and monoculture system and analyzing the stand factors that influenced on the productivity of rubber sap. This research was conducted with survey method. The observation was conducted by made 40 m x 40 m measuring plot in the community rubber area which was planted using the monoculture pattern (15 years old) and agroforestry (15 years old rubber and 6 years old dipterocarp). All measuring plot has been in two variations of site condition (near a swamp and far from a swamp). Furthermore, each tree also classified based on diameter classes of < 10 cm, 10 – 20 cm, 20 – 30 cm, and > 30 cm. The parameter that was being measures includes the production of rubber sap, the site condition, and the Diameter Breast High of rubber stem (DBH). The result of this research showed that the site did not influence the production of sap/tree/day (12.23 gr for the ones far from the swamp and 12,06 gr for the ones near the swamp). The stem diameter class has influenced on the production of sap; if stem diameter class was getting bigger so that the rubber sap production was also getting bigger. The average of the highest sap production in the two cultivating pattern lies on the stem diameter class of > 30 cm with 30 (±6.45) gram/ day and the lowest sap production was in the stem diameter class of < 10 cm with 4.75 (±2,2) gr/day. The productivity of rubber sap on the agroforestry stands was higher if compared to the rubber monoculture with the average production was 7,5 kg/ha/day. The productivity of sap in the rubber agroforestry was higher because % of the plants living up to 15 years old was higher (98.7%) if compared with the rubber monoculture pattern (69,2%).

Biogas is a renewable energy source with many different production pathways and various excellent opportunities to use. One main advantage of biogas is the waste reduction potential. Biogas production by anaerobic digestion is popular for treating biodegradable waste because valuable fuel can be produced while destroying disease-causing pathogens and reducing the volume of disposed waste products. Biogas burns more cleanly than coal, and emits less carbon dioxide per unit of energy. The carbon in biogas was recently extracted from the atmosphere by photosynthetic plants. Releasing it back into the atmosphere adds less total atmospheric carbon than burning fossil fuels. Thus, biogas production kills two birds with one stone: it reduces waste and produces energy. In addition, the residues from the digestation process can be used as high quality fertilizer. This closes the nutrient cycle.
