“When I was in school I had a teacher turn the light
switch on for me, changing my schedule around my
musical interest. It’s what gave me the coping skills to
get me though those tumultuous years. My mission is
to activate and elevate the next generation, empowering
them with life skills and leading by example. If they can
dream big and work hard, our many voices will be heard.“

S O N G W R I T I N G & P O E T R Y !
We delve into the elements of how to create an original piece of music - starting with beat making, ear
training with harmony, and exploring each individual’s unique voice using melodies. We identify the
parts of an ensemble and how the sum of the whole is bigger than it’s individual parts. There’s also an
exploration of writing devices for poetry and how it easily transforms into lyric writing.
V I D E O & AU D I O P R O D U C T I O N!
Students are broken into groups and provided with materials to make an original music video with a
producer to assist them. Sketching the beginning, middle, and end scenes, then writing scripts and
using hand held video cams to sing, dance, act in their video. They will be taught editing skills and will
also be encouraged to produce an original score/soundtrack. The final product will be available for the
schools’ use. Great for videoYear Books and can be uploaded to schools’ website with ease.

Through hands-on learning, students integrate percussion, rhythm, movements, diaphragmatic breathing
and mindfulness practices that teach them to stimulate the part of the brain most associated with
learning, joy, empathy and compassion, and down-regulate the part of the brain active in stress and fear
modes. In the context of dance, movement, vocalizing and breath students learn an integrated model of
being!
Our Goal: Activate and Elevate each child's
