1. Magnitogorsk was visited by heads of
the Turkish company "Energoinvest
TAT IFS"
"Energoinvest Termoaparati TAT-IFS" - the large Turkish company which has a wealth of
experience in the sphere of construction of hydroelectric power stations, oil and cement
works, and also implementations of transport infrastructure projects – roads and bridge
crossings - worldwide.
As a part of delegation to the city there arrived the president of the company Sahin Idris Fatih,
the vice-president Yakali Yavuz, representatives of the company in Russia Dmitry Grigoriev
and Nina Drozdova and the director of JSC Tranzprom Pavel Averyanov. Earlier they studied
projects which are realized in the territory of Magnitogorsk, and found a little interesting to
themselves. Within visit guests visited places where they shortly, perhaps, should work.
After the working trip on city platforms where implementation of projects is planned, in the
city administration the meeting of delegates with Vitaly Bakhmetyev and representatives of
city industrial enterprises took place. Participants of meeting discussed questions of
cooperation according to four largest projects which are planned to implementation in the
territory of municipality: construction of the fifth bridge crossing and iron production,
upgrade of JSC Magnitogorsk Cement and Fire-resistant Plant and construction of two power
substations. All projects are in a stage of active study. Their potential was highly appreciated
at the regional level.
Representatives of "Energoinvest Termoaparati TAT-IFS" expressed desire and readiness to
act as investors. Especially they were interested by construction projects of the fifth bridge
crossing and iron production.
The project of the basis of iron production is developed within the import substitution
program of production which is strategically important for the market of the country. It is
planned that the new high-technology and competitive entity will be engaged in production of
tubings, rolls, pipes, containers of nuclear power, cast beds and accessories. General capacity
of plant is estimated at 77 200 tons of production. As the initiator of project implementation
the governor of Chelyabinsk region Boris Dubrovsky acted. Its support was got also by other
projects which were discussed within a working meeting of the Turkish delegates with a
management of Magnitogorsk.
"We have money that to invest them. Also there are ideas and practices that to share
them", - the president of the company Sahin Idris Fatih noted.
"We will be glad to work with you, - Vitaly Viktorovich addressed to delegates. – We have
many perspective industrial projects, not only based on JSC MMK. The city developing,
growing therefore here too it is possible to pay attention to municipal services. We are ready
to find a common ground between projects and to offer advantageous conditions for
cooperation".

2. City visitors added to words about municipal services that managed to estimate purity of
Magnitogorsk streets. According to them, Magnitogorsk looks adequately, at the European
level.
After the meeting guests continued communication on the designated questions. The Turkish
colleagues declared that are ready to invest in development of the city of metallurgists and to
look for various common ground not only in the specified city projects, but also in the cultural
sphere.
The department of investment projects and foreign economic activity of the city
