This document summarizes a project report for designing and fabricating a prosthetic hand using voice control. The project was completed by 4 students for their Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics). The report describes the materials used, design considerations, components of the prosthetic hand like the Arduino microcontroller, DC motors, Bluetooth module, and an Android smartphone. It provides details on how these components work together through programming the Arduino and developing an Android application. The report concludes the prosthetic hand has advantages like low cost and being voice controlled, but also limitations like potentially low strength. It suggests future work could improve the design.
