1. What is Data Communication?
Answer: Data communication refers to the exchange of data between
two or more devices or computers.
2. What is Network?
Answer: A network where two or more devices are electrically
connected and can communicate between them.
3. What is PAN?
Answer : PANs can be used for communication among the personal
devices themselves, or for connecting to a higher level network.
4. What is LAN?
Answer: That is use 5000 device and Its circumference is 1 kilometers
wide.
LAN is a Computer network that interconnects computers within a
limited area such as a residence, school, laboratory, university campus
or office building.

Answer: It is confined to the metropolitan area. Its circumference is 10
kilometers wide.
6. What is WAN?
Answer: That extends over a large geographic area for the primary
purpose of computer networking.
7. What is NIC?
Answer: MAC address is attached to this card.
NIC is a computer hardware component that connects a computer to a
computer network.
8.What is MAC?
Answer: It have 48 bit. There is a physical and logical addressing.
MAC is a unique identifier assigned to a network interface controller.

Answer: It's defines addressing methods that are used to label the
datagram with source and destination information.

Answer: Port is a communication endpoint. A port is a logical construct
that identifies a specific process or a type of network service.
11.What is HUB?
Answer: All device can access data.
Hub is a network hardware device for connecting multiple Ethernet
devices together and making them act as a single network segment.
12.What is Switch?
Answer: Switch uses MAC addresses. A network switch is a multiport
network bridge.
13. What is Router?
Answer: Router uses IP and MAC.
Router is a networking device that forwards data packets between
computer networks.

Answer: Bridge is a networking device. It is used to connect two or
more LAN networks.
15. What is Repeater?
Answer: It is used to connect two or more MAN networks.
