Urban Floodscapes explores the increasingly challenging issues facing our local and global environments in an age of considerable and frequently dramatic change. This presentation suggests how controls could be implemented to deal with issues of climate change including flooding, drought and sea level rise.
2. Through the joy of design we secure a restorative fit
between cities and their supporting ecosystems.
Our mission
3. We embrace the concept of biomimicry
in our design process by examining and
replicating the models, systems,
processes, and elements of nature.

87. To tackle these global challenges we established the Biocity
Studio.
!
This research vehicle allows us to partner with universities,
scientists, industry, NGO’s and government to undertake
urban sustainability research.
!
We make the findings of this research open source and use it to
inform our design work.

data to visualise urban systems for citizens,
business intelligence and urban planning uses.
