3. CONCEPTUALIZING MY HUMAN SERVICE PROGRAM
My program will address Organizational Priority: The health and safety of children in the system. Let me take a moment to
give you some background history. There were five children. We were motherless and fatherless our entire life. We lived from
foster home to group home. Never knew whose house we would be in and what bed we would be in when we awoke.
Eventually, we were split up from each other. The twins were kept together. The social worker would visit the foster mother.
The foster mother would have us fix the social worker's favorite dishes to have for lunch. The Foster mother knew just how to
butter the social worker up. She would buy clothing from the Thrift Shop to give to the social worker. Two days before the
social worker was to visit, as I said, the foster mother and not the children. As punishment for a button that fell off my jacket,
she burned my hand on a hot coffee pot. When the social worker asked me what had happened to my hand, I lied. The
social worker proceeded to continue eating.
• My population will be boys and girls, six to twelve years old.
• Social workers must be retrained to heighten their awareness of children in foster homes, workshop training, rope training,
be more observant, and ask questions to the child.
• How many trained social workers will I need to train field social workers?
Mission statement: - Our foster children are regarded as needing love and tender care. We use plausible to listen and be fair
to our children. Before all children age out of the system, encourage each child to take advantage of the benefits that are
system provides.
4. KNOWING THE ENVIRONMENT
AND PLANNING
• Political-Could be the changes in political patterns of behavior and values of individuals
and political institutions that hold power and controls society. Sociologists have identified
five four critical sources of social, cultural, and political change: Innovation, diffusion,
acculturation, and assimilation.
• Economic-the gender pay gap, granting legal protection for workers, and following non-
discriminatory. Practices are some of the crucial. Examples of social changes. All these
improve in economy's collective success.
• Social-include population, growth, composition., culture and technology., and the nature
of the vendor. Comment, and social conflict.
• Technological-PEST analysis (political, economic, social, and technological)
management method whereby an organization can assess major external factors that
influence its operation to become more competitive.
5. KNOWING THE ENVIRONMENT AND PLANNING
• And needs assessment is a process for determining the
needs. Use social media, use the TV stations, attend
local community meetings, and set up all pastor's
conferences and Town Hall meeting.
• It does not matter who you are; diversity is most important
and included in my business. To simplify, the assortment
comprises visible variety, such as age, ethnicity, gender,
physical abilities, qualities, and race.
• The primary goal is to listen and document. Fear is not
allowed, but trust is always.
6. EXAMPLES OF SPECIFIC, MEASURABLE OBJECTIVES
THAT WOULD HELP MEET ONE OF THE GOALS YOU HAVE
IDENTIFIED. • This service will provide a social worker seven times a week.
These social workers will be there to listen and document; if
needed, the child will be replaced Immediately. (Process intake
system will take place).
• The child to be taken to the hospital to be evaluated and placed
temporarily in a foster home or group home. I will provide 24/7
service.
• When a child needs help, their behavior changes immensely. The
breakdown of the child's talking has diminished.
• Measure goal: There has to be a point where you will know you
have accomplished that goal. Meaning a time limit; The child will
be reevaluated for six weeks at the end of the week.
7. ORGANIZATIONAL
THEORY & DESIGN
• The functional structure. An available system
divides the organization into groups by roles,
responsibilities.
• Intake officer-Social Worker-Get pertinent
information, such as Name, age, (Would you explain
what happened.
• Temporary Shelters-Provide food, clothing, (In-
house schooling by a certified teacher.
• In-house training/Workshop training-Two
weekends a month for in-house training. Workshop
training will be held every quarter. Exceptions:
There will be no in-house training during the month
of the workshop. There will be no workshop training
if holidays fall on every third quarter.
• Two social workers will coordinate each task, nurse
and social worker, or teacher and me.
