This document summarizes a diversity and inclusion workshop hosted by Inklusiiv & ITclusive. It introduces the six facilitators and their backgrounds promoting diversity. The agenda includes an introduction, group work using a Change Agent Canvas, and a break. Ground rules are outlined to ensure an open and respectful discussion. Diversity and inclusion are defined, focusing on understanding differences and fostering inclusion, fairness and psychological safety. An icebreaker activity asks participants to guess job titles. The workshop then has participants brainstorm changes they'd like to see regarding diversity and inclusion at different levels before wrapping up.

4. This Workshop is a Safe Space
This workshop is about caring for your team, your company and our industry.
We assume everyone to have an open mind towards each of us.
No-one is allowed to bully, ridicule or downplay anyone’s views and opinions.
Only polite, respectful behavior and constructive criticism are allowed.
We listen and let others speak in peace without unnecessary interruptions.
Allow those in a marginalized position to speak for themselves on their terms.
If needed, the facilitators will kick you out, should you not comply.
In short, be compassionate.
5. What do we mean by
diversity and inclusion?
Workplace diversity is understanding, accepting, and valuing differences between people
including, but not limited to, those of different gender, race, religion, political opinion,
ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, marital status, language, disability or other marginalized
aspects contributing to where we come from, who we are and what we look like.
Inclusion is the achievement of a work environment in which all individuals are treated fairly
and respectfully, have equal access to opportunities and resources, and can contribute fully
to the organization's success. Inclusion fosters openness, psychological safety and a sense of
belonging, welcoming new ideas and making sure that everyone’s voice is being heard.
Inclusion creates an environment where psychological safety enables vulnerability and
constructive conversation.
