Look around the location The location is part of Henley College, so it is a quiet
and private area which will be good for me to work
in. There is a lot of space which is good for the shoot
as I will be able to use the space for a lot of different
reasons. There is no rubbish around the location;
therefore the photos taken will look more
professional.
Talk to people there, organise filming The location is a college location; therefore by being
permission a college student, I do not need anyone’s permission
to carry out the shoot.
Identify the equipment you need to The only equipment I need is a camera to take the
use photos with and the props that my model will be
using for the shoot.
Examine and identify any potential Crowd numbers are easily controlled as the location
health and safety issues is not used by a majority of students. The location is
a flat, green surface so there are no hazards.
Check the position of the sun and Lighting conditions are fine. The positioning of my
lighting conditions shots with the suns positioning will not interfere
with each other.
Look for interesting shots and camera A close-up or an establishing shot can be taken with
angles the model leaning against the brick wall. This will be
different to a shot with the model sitting down on
the grass. A mid-shot can be taken with my model
sitting standing next to some gates. This will give
some edge to my photos.
Check the electricity supply The location is outside, therefore there is no
electricity supply, and I do not need one as my
camera will have battery power.
Check the nearby car Transport routes do not matter as my location is
parking/transport routes cornered off from the car parking etc.
Is the location suitable for production This is a suitable area for production as the location
is quiet, so I know I will not be disturbed. There are
also different things which I can work with such as
gates, which will make my photos stand out.
