6. OCULAR INSPECTION
How to determine the number of cleaning supplies, equipment, and headcount?
The estimated cleaning of the office (usually 6 days a week, including vacuuming, moping,
bathrooms, kitchens/pantry, mostly carpet in the building, etc.) usually takes 1 person 1 hour to
clean 750 – 1000 square meters. So if the office is 2000 square meters, it will take about 2
hours and 15 minutes with 1 person EVERY DAY. Now, there will be one day that will take
longer as general cleaning and special project are done once a week, so you can add an
additional hour to one day a week. This would total 12 hours and 15 minutes each week for 5
days a week.
Note:
The smaller the office, the less square meter can be cleaned per hour. For example, an office
that is 400 square meters won’t usually take 30 minutes. This can be up to 1.5 hours depending
on what exactly needs to be done in the small office.
