implementation so transportation, land use, housing and economic development are complementary and

EXPERIENCE Director, Transportation Planning | West Florida Regional Planning Council
Feb 2008 – Current
 Maintained Federal Highway Administration/Federal Transit Administration certification for
the Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) and maintained Florida
Department of Transportation certification for the Okaloosa-Walton and Bay County TPOs.
 Managed a staff of approximately twenty (20) senior planners, planners, administrative and
financial support staff. Recruited, supervised, evaluated, and mentored employees.
 Managed a budget of $3.7 million in Fiscal Year 2016.
 Served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Florida Metropolitan Planning Organization Advisory
Council staff directors committee from 2010 through 2014.
 Initiated and expanded the Emerald Coast Transportation Symposium to share innovations
and ideas to bring vibrant, successful, healthy communities to reality.

transportation demand management program in ten counties in northwest Florida and the
public transit system in Bay County, Florida.

 Administered numerous federal and state grants.
