Mitosis is a cell division that occurs in body cells. It has four stages namely: Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase and Telophase.

(XX or XY), for a total of 46 chromosomes.

and females are called autosomes.
The chromosomes that differ between males and
females are the sex chromosomes.
