Sports & Entertainment Ltd (SEL) and seven time Uncle Toby’s Super Series Champion Guy Leech, together with Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA), are delighted to announce the 2010/ 2011 inaugral ‘Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Iron Man Series’ & concurrent ‘Iron Woman Series’.<br />Launching in September 2010, the Series shall feature the biggest names in surf life saving, including Ky Hurst, Nathan Smith, Caine Eckstein, Shannon Eckstein and Hayley Bateup<br />It is envisaged that Tom will feature in a segment on Sports tonight, a competitor profile during a race telecast, an article in the Telegraph and numerous Manly Daily reports.<br />The Series shall consist of 5 events in 2010–2011 (and 6 events each summer thereafter) with the following extensive free to air television exposure:<br /><ul><li>4 Events: 3 hours of television each on Sundays live, or near-live from 2.00pm–5pm on Network Ten, with replays of each within 7 days on ONE.
  3. 3. One “Twilight” Event: 3 hours of television live or near-live early evening on a Friday on ONE.
  4. 4. Each of the above 3 hour broadcasts shall include 30 minutes of Iron Woman Series footage.
  5. 5. One hour Season Preview and Season Review broadcasts on TEN.
  6. 6. One hour highlights package of the Iron Woman Series broadcast on ONE.</li></ul>In Summary, there shall be 17 hours of Ten broadcast and a minimum of 18 hours of One broadcast (probably more as they will likely show the Replays more than once).<br />It is intended that the Series shall also be broadcast in New Zealand, South East Asia and the United Kingdom.<br />The focus is on performance, health and wellbeing and achieving the best results at any cost.<br />2<br />
