MANAGEMENT PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT
I believe that a good manager strives on the basis of four things. These aspects
that influence leadership and management are choosing your attitude, getting
rid of excuses, understanding what you’re trying to do and finally, dream big.
Following these basic factors have molded me into the leader that I am today.
First, my management philosophy is based around choosing a certain
attitude. This not only relates to myself, but also to the employees around me. This greatly affects
the culture that we look to create in our professional atmosphere. Having a positive at titude can
be the simplest and most important thing that a person can do to help benefit the workplace.
Secondly, getting rid of excuses can help move a
company into fantastic success. Things will not always go

as smoothly as possible in the workplace, but instead of

football that can relate to life, and the thing I learned
the most is that you are not as strong individually as you
are as a team. This can translate to the workplace, in
which working together can create a unity that can be
stronger above all else.
EVERYBODY IS GOING TO
HAVE DIFFICULTY. THE
QUESTION IS, ‘ARE YOU
GOING TO STAY DOWN, OR
ARE YOU GOING TO GET UP?’”
Thirdly, understanding what you’re trying to do can be

very important in a business. To fully understand the
goals and mission of the company, a leader needs to
conduct work and communication based on the goals and mission. Understanding the priorities of
the company as well as your own can help lead and manage for success.
Finally, dreaming big is very crucial in succeeding. As a leader, I determine my future goals for
myself, my employees and my company. This helps me put important issues into perspective by
asking “what’s important now?” This is crucial in helping me lead and manage my future
endeavors.
My management philosophy follows the four steps of choosing a certain attitude, getting rid of
excuses, understanding what I’m trying to do, and dreaming big. These help guide me to my
professional goals as a manager. Through these strategies, I believe that there can be an ideal
relationship between manager and employee. My role is to manage and lead to the best of my
ability, and I believe that following these factors and through what I’ve learned through my
experiences, will help me be successful.
