Given current data on functional workspaces that promote creativity and
collaboration, we have created an office layout that provides contemporary amenities
and organization to heighten productivity.

The receptionist is placed strategically at the entrance between the door the
president’s office to not only greet clients but also mediate communication between the
public and the president.
The conference room offers high functionality in allowing clients to comfortably
meet with executives throughout the planning and implementation of their sites while
also giving a common area for all employees to take a short break or have lunch. This
highlights the design idea of multipurpose workspaces as noted in an article by Lydia
Dishman of Fast Company entitled “8 Top Office Design Trends of 2016.”
By placing the developers together at a common table, they are able to
collaborate while developing different areas of software to not only troubleshoot but
create together in a synergistic fashion. Furthermore, the placement of the remainder of
employees at a common table further allows people more interaction at work, something
contemporarily being sought in the workplace.
We believe that by arranging this space in a way that meets contemporary
workplace objectives, Howard Designs’ employees will thrive and meet optimal
productivity in their office.
