A historical aim from MARINERMARINERMARINERMARINER brand for over a century is the
passion for a welldone job.
Our master craftsmen have perfectly known to convey their
experience and sensitivity, generation after generation, combining
the more traditional methods with modern manufacturing
techniques, making out of each created piece a work of art.
Every furniture and lamp from MARINER are delivered to its new
owner accompanied by a certificate of authenticity that certifies
and guarantees the authenticity of the piece made with the
creativity, craftsmanship and superior quality that have
characterized the MARINER brand for over 120 years.
The certificate of authenticity shows the serial number, which is
fire stamped into the furniture by our own master craftsmen,
ensuring in this way the authenticity and exclusiveness of the
acquired piece , which will endure over the time and become an
emblematic piece and a reference of style over the years .
Our pieces are nowadays considered antiques worldwide.

Many years have passed since Enrique Mariner Gurrea opened in 1893 his small factory shop of lamps and
began a project that 5 generations later is still continued by their descendants.
His original craft workshop, created even before the electrification, have been transformed into modern
facilities, where lamps and furniture are still made by hand, decorating the most luxurious homes and
palaces around the world.
A constant in the five generations at the MARINERMARINERMARINERMARINER company has been the pride of a well done work. Our
craftsmen have permanently transmitted their experience from generation to generation and have collated
the new techniques with the traditional methods of design, using with care fine materials in the
manufacturing of our lamps and furniture.
All projects represent a symbiotic relationship between the artistic, the technical, the professional and the
craftmanship, characteristics which define in a very accurate way the MARINER´s work philosophy.

MARINER’sMARINER’sMARINER’sMARINER’s Showroom opened in 1943, in a more than
1500m2 exhibition , where the contemporary style coexists
in perfect harmony with a large selection of complementary
items made with the highest craft tradition, as well as
cutting-edge lines that reflect our continuous interest for
innovation and adaptation to new trends.
MARINER’s showroom is located in the former factory
building located in the current district of Patraix, previously
called Barony of Patraix, until the second-half of the
nineteenth century, given that it was annexed later on to the
Municipality of Valencia as a consequence of the socio-
economic expansion of the city.
As a commemoration of that time and the choice of the
space where we are located made by D. Enrique Gurrea
Mariner, MARINER Group Founder, in our exhibition is
located the “MARINER Museum”, created in 1993 on
occasion of the centenary celebration. Here you can have a
retrospective visual documentary regarding the labor and
social trajectory that the company had to go over
throughout the twentieth century, undergoing major
expansion moments as well as harsh stages of economic
difficulties that, with effort, professionalism, creativity and
team unity have been overpassing over the years.

the five continents. Their export vocation was initiated soon after the birth of the company and, already in
1915, MARINER had already sold its products in Europe and America.
Trade Fairs such as Milan (1927) or Philadelphia (1930) have witnessed his presence on the international
market for many decades. The Lighting Show in Paris, Elektro Messehaus in Hannover, Euroluce in Milan,
Frankfurt Herbst, FINE in Beirut, INDEX in Dubai, the Furniture Shows in Paris and Cologne, as well as the
International Furniture and Lighting Show in Valencia – these ones from their foundation, are all examples of
MARINER´s international trajectory which today extends to over a hundred and ten countries around the
world.
