Laughter
1. LAUGHTER
Why do we laugh although life isn’t treating us well? Why do we laugh
when we worry about the future? Why do we laugh at our problems?
Why is it known that most of the people who laugh a lot are the same
that are hiding a lot of pain? Why does laughter sometimes end in
miserable tears? Is it because we can’t have a happy moment? Or is it
because of the fact that the same things we laugh about caused us pain
long ago? We don’t laugh at our problems but laugh about the irony of
them. We laugh about how our fear of the future makes us do things we
never knew we could do like sky dive or climb a mountain. We laugh
because we have cried so much that our tears dried out and we can’t do
anything about it which ironically reminds us how little we are, even to
our bodies. We laugh because balance is key and we can’t let ourselves
dwell on things we can’t change. We laugh because we deserve it! We
deserve to feel content even though our lives are busy, even though all
the deadlines are approaching, even though we can’t keep up with our
overwhelming days. We laugh at some of our inconveniences because
we can’t change them so we might as well learn to live with them and
accept them. We laugh because we are all trying so so hard to seek
conviction and satisfaction in our imperfect life. We sometimes laugh
when we remember a lost loved one because of oh how the life has
changed without them and how we never expected to be like that. We
laugh and end up crying because we overwhelm our emotions trying to
live our best. We laugh about all the intricate details because we care
about each and every one of them. Whether we admit it or not, we laugh
because deep in ourselves we are happy about the little things and
actions that makes us people. To sum it all up, we laugh because we are
ALIVE and laughing is one of the only ways we get to feel that!
