Krukenberg tumors are bilateral ovarian metastases that are commonly over 10 cm in size from a signet ring cell adenocarcinoma primary tumor, most commonly in the stomach but sometimes the breast or colon, that spread to the ovaries via the lymphatic pathway and can occur without other metastases.
