2. Fact 1:
•Notussil®
(Cloperastine) is a
central antitussive
that acts directly
and selectively on
the Bulbar cough
center in medulla
oblongata.

3. Fact 2:
•Unlike Codeine,
Notussil®(Cloperastine) is
a non-narcotic, centrally
acting antitussive
therefore it doesn’t cause
either depression for
respiratory center or
dependence.

• Notussil®(Cloperastine)
inhibits the inflammatory &
allergic mediators (like
histamine & serotonin) that
stimulate peripheral cough
receptors.

exhibits
bronchorelaxant
action as it
relaxes
bronchial
musculature.

•Notussil® doesn’t
interfere with the
protective mucociliary
mechanism so that, it
can be used safely in

oral administration at
therapeutic dose range:
• For Adults: 1 teaspoonful (5 ml)
three times daily.
• For Children over 2 years:
1 teaspoonful (5 ml) twice daily.

causes with additional
bronchorelaxant effect and without
