Human and education, morality and religiosity. Methods of diagnosis and comprehensive development of
the individual. The development of human capital, talent, and creativity. Language as an instrument for
understanding and interpreting the World etc.
Demographic and social changes, changes in value structures and ethics, science, technology and new
media, ICT, Internet safety. Security and reliability of products and services, social innovation, extremism,
ethnic inclusion, tolerance, public participation. Generation and gender issues, education and changes in its
content, development and transformation of society - Inclusive, innovative and reflective society, privacy
and freedom on the Internet etc.
Sustainable development of landscape and human settlements, availability, excluded localities,
employment opportunities, quality of life and health care, environmental protection. Safe, clean and
efficient energy, cultural activities, collaboration and networking, urban planning, regional development
and nature-friendly society. Allocation and retention factors, community involvement, territorial
partnerships etc.
Identification of new opportunities for competitive advantage, the development of cooperation between
the private sector, research organizations and universities, public administration and citizens (media,
information and cultural society), business support, exploration of new markets. Development of innovative
business - services and infrastructure, cyber security etc.
Cultural creation, participation, distribution and consumption as an allocation and retention factor,
innovation culture and their impact. Role of culture and cultural infrastructure for regeneration and

The combination of local culture, the use of distinctive local sources (municipal, historical, natural, cultureled etc.). Collective memory, attitudes, lifestyle, cultural identity of landscape, natural, cultural and creative
attributes as a sorce for competitiveness location/community regeneration and socio-economic

The combination of innovative culture, corporate culture, education and institutional infrastructure, human
capital, science, research and development, transfer of technology and knowledge, rules, laws, legislation,
business support. Production, distribution and consumption of goods and services, mobility and transport,
policy makers, infrastructure, networking, clustering or culture of cooperation for competitiveness and
socio-economic development etc.
Mapping and development of cultural and creative sectors (CCS) and its economic activities, using ideas and
IP (input) to generate new ideas and IP (output). CCS and its role in manufacturing, innovation and
competitive advantage for other sectors (spillover effects). CCS as a new market and new sales method
discovery. CCS as a generator of prosperity and contributor to the development of communities, cities and
regions (synergy effects). CCS as an interface between creativity, culture, economy, technology and society.
Governance: smart governance smart administration, participative governance, (new)public management.
Public policies: coordination and implementation of public policies, public interest, multilevel governance,
EU policy harmonisation, impact and perception of state intervention, analysis of the impact of public
policy, forecasts of economic development, removing barriers in the internal market. The introduction of
empirical ex ante and ex post evaluation of policies and strategies (evidence-based policies).
Based on the findings of roundtables, research priorities of the Czech Rep., Horizon 2020 and previous objectives of programme OMEGA.
